Sleepyhead Respitory rate

Post by bjm1 » Sat Jan 09, 2021 6:33 pm

According to Oscar (Sleepyhead) my respiratory rate averages around 35+ evey night and the graph peaks out at 50 most of the time. Indicating fast shallow breathing. Has anyone else experienced this type of respiratory result.

I doubt that you are really breathing that fast.
Most likely the machine is double counting breaths due to cardioballistic artifact.
It's been discussed here quite often. There is a way to actually zoom in on the flow rate and count the breaths as well as look to see if the machine is counting the cardiac echo.
