Redness under nose
Redness under nose
I have used Cpap for 4 years now and had been using the F & P Eson 2 nasal mask with much success. A couple months ago I started getting redness under my nose, just in the middle of the nose between the nostrils. I thought it might be the mask so I switched to the Airfit N30 Cushion. Love the mask but still getting the redness. What's weird is that its not sore but very red and hard to cover. I've tried cleaning all my equipment, cranked up the humidity and tried every cream under the sun. Tried antifungal, antibiotic cream, diaper rash cream, vaseline etc. One website said that high pressure air could cause it but my highest pressure is set at 9 so I don't think that's it. Hoping someone has an idea. Thanks
It's always somethin'

The most recommended cream for CPAP mask irritation is Lansinoh Lanolin - https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lanisoh-Hpa- ... /361346051

Re: Redness under nose
Show it to dermatologist (skin doctor).
You've been self diagnosing and self treating for long enough.
