help Analyzing Oscar data

Post by moof » Wed Jan 03, 2024 7:53 am

Hello and happy new year to everyone,

can I please request some help in order to analyse those results as I do not know where to look.

From what I see they are ok but : I still feel tired. Today for instance my eyes feel weird, I'm knackered even though it seems like I had a good night.

I had tries where I did set the pressure at 13 : same, not feeling so good.

I'm stuck as in the first week of therapy I felt a new man ! completely refreshed. But then, tiredness came back.

here is last night (I do not know how to set Oscar in English and it is in French here) :

The forum members prefer one thread with questions like this.
Here's a link to your other thread.

There's nothing of great excitement on either of your shared reports. I don't think you are going to find the answer to your question within the software reports.

Might need to be looking elsewhere.

Hello Pugsy and thanks for your reply.

I'll delete the other thread right away, sorry about that.

Do you mean that my tiredness is probably not related to this as the data seems ok ?

kind regards,

edit : can't delete it apparently

I mean that there isn't anything in the data shown that screams out "fix me and you won't be so tired".

Common thought is that there is some sort of magical setting on the machine that will fix or eliminate all our unwanted symptoms and that simply isn't the case.
There's a lot more to getting restorative sleep than what we can see on these reports.

These machines fix one problem only and that is collapsing airway issues.
There are a lot more potential causes than just airway issues and the machine can't do a damn thing about those other potential causes.

And no....you can't delete your posts once someone has responded in some fashion to them.

Think VERY hard about what changed between that good beginning and the onset of trouble. There are many variables to consider, so let your thoughts range widely. Some possibilities: changes in the bedroom (mattress, pillow, bedding, light, temperature, noise, pets, sleep partner); food and drink, especially consumed within 4 hours of bedtime but also including caffeine consumed any time; timing of going to bed and getting up; amount of activity during the day; amount of direct sunlight exposure during the day; medications; level of stress or anxiety; exposure to screens before bedtime; bedtime routines.

thank you both for taking the time to answer.

I thought maybe the "variable breathing" at around 25% could've been an issue.
or the pressure too high as my tinnitus came back hard.

If I understand correctly, my problem with apnea is solved :)

I'll try to think and find things that may have changed between the beginning and now as at first glance, I cannot find anything.

I'll also look at the data I have.

thanks again for your time guys.
