CPAP Machine to Donate

Post by Nandu » Thu Sep 19, 2013 3:36 pm

I was diagnosed a having sleep apnea, barely, back in 2002. I was provided with a CPAP machine, which I used for a few years. However, it got to the point that I don't seem to need it any more. I am facing a possible move out of the country, to the U.K., so am trying to find someone to donate my CPAP Machine to; a Good Knight 420S by Puritan Bennett. I checked out another Sleep Apnea website, but for some reason, they will not accept my machine. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can donate this? I live in N. California, in the Bay area.

A charity wouldn't want such an ancient machine but there a lot of people on here who would absolutely kill to get an old replacement Puritan Bennett 420.

Hey, if it still pumps air into ones lungs and provides an adequate air splint, data or no data, it may be a lifesaver for someone with plain vanilla OSA and limited funds.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
