Re: Quick Question About Cleaning AirFit N30i Frame

I use the same mask/frame and it's the most comfortable one I've tried so far. My frame is doing the same thing and I've never washed it in the six months I've been using it. The only thing that goes through it is filtered air, so I can't see the need to disassemble everything to wash it. Jus...

It appears that the Phillips recall is for the same reason as this problem
. So why no recall for the Resmed?
ResMed has issued a statement and I got an email from them saying the type of foam they use is different from the type Philips uses which is causing the recall.

Re: CPAP Cleaners

Saw the ads; again, and again, and AGAIN. Repeat a lie enough, people will start believing it. I grew up reading Mad Magazine. Best teacher about dishonesty, duplicity, and GREED. Yeah, Captain Kirk can be quite persuasive, but I just like to hear their justification from their own mouths. Most tim...

I'm always curious when I see people ask this question.
What makes you feel you would need something like this?

Re: CPAP Routine

I forgot to add in my original post. DO NOT fall for the scare tactic scam of using any of these so-called "cleaning machines", like SoClean. They are completely unnecessary and are not approved by the FDA or any CPAP manufacturer. It may be tempting to think you just throw your equipment into some ...

Re: CPAP Routine

I've never heard of an app to help with a CPAP routine, but there may be something out there. As far as my routine, I really have no set routine. I try to remember to wipe my mask cushions daily with an unscented wipe...just to remove the oils and such. I top off my humidifier reservoir about every ...

Re: SoClean and Other Ozone Cleaners - FDA Warning

and third where is the actual hard evidence that what is being said is true??? I have at least a half dozen or so studies and information from professionals backing up the fact that these cleaning devices clean nothing and have little to no sanitizing effect either. I’m not sure it would be worth t...

Re: SoClean and Other Ozone Cleaners - FDA Warning

I Still don't see what the big deal is I am using my machine and the cleaner no matter what. I still use the other method as well. I think that the company that makes these products would be out of business if some of the this stuff was actually proven and you can't ways believe in what you read. S...

Re: SoClean2

These devices are advertised often because it's easy to use scare tactics to sell products like this. Tell your Dad to see if he can find any evidence or studies that show that the SoClean, or any other "cleaning" device, works as advertised. There are hundreds of studies that prove these devices ar...

Re: SoClean and Other Ozone Cleaners - FDA Warning

Hmm. This article is over a year old its 2021 now. I would think they would of stopped making them if it was so unsafe and was proven by more than a few people or on a forum like this. I believe that the SoClean2 is FDA approved as of now. Please cite your source. Would you stop making somet...

Re: SoClean and Other Ozone Cleaners - FDA Warning

I'm glad to see this brought up again. I have had this information bookmarked since it was published, for factual information to present to the SoClean fanboys. It's somewhat shocking to me when I present this info to the ozone fanatics and their response is "I don't believe in anything the FDA says...

Re: NO DATA

If you're talking about the data that is displayed on the machine's display, I don't know for sure but there may be an issue with the machine itself if nothing is displayed. If you're talking about an app like myAir or DreamMapper not giving you information from last night's session, give it an hour...

Re: Curious about cleaning

I've found that a cleaning routine varies by how much of a germaphobe someone is. It's a personal thing, to say the least, but from what I've seen around, most people go overboard with cleaning. As Julie said, any of the so-called "cleaning machines" do not clean anything and there is no proof that ...

Nevermind. I finally figured it out.
Please let us know what your solution was. I'm using the same oximeter, and while I did get it connected to my computer, I never was able to get OSCAR to recognize it.

Otherwise, it seems to work well.

Re: cleanzone cpap sanitizer safe?

Regarding this product, why would anybody do this to themselves? Because so many people have become germaphobes and people like Captain Kirk tell them they are killing themselves with filthy CPAP equipment. I've had many discussions with people in other groups and when the FDA issue is presented, t...
