Re: Why bother
At first I was using the p10 as well but eventually found that it irritated the inside of my nose too much. After trying about 5 other masks I have been using the n30 for about 9 months and am sticking with it until something better for me comes along. If you find the p10 sliding around there are th...

Re: Sewing hose covers, first attempt.
As a way to cheat for the elastic, if you can find a small wide elastic band that fits snug on the hose you can turn your cover inside out, put it through the elastic, fold the cover back and with a needle and thread just do a slip stitch. Re: CPAP Anxiety clausterophobia etc
Something that helped me during the first couple of weeks was to put the mask on without connecting it to the machine and go watch a good movie and breath through your nose as you do not have a full face mask. This helped me get use to having this alien thing on my face.

Re: Chinese torture in the UK from cpap
Yup, called a silent heart attack and many (mostly men) just ignore it and don't realize that they have had one. As per no family history, have they been tested for sleep apnea? My father probably had it and wasn't diagnosed and he died of a heart attack. Just so you know I have 30 years on you so k...

Back to cycling, cross country skiing, kayaking, walking 10km/day, just not able to do the same as before but still on this side of the grass. Lost 35 lbs and had another sleep study done, it showed a decrease in apnea if I stayed sleeeping on my side but the same if I slept on my bac...
