Re: Anybody had problems with their CMS-60D?
Wouldn't my heart be exploding if it was beating that fast? Don't tell me I have bifarcated dysregulated breathing while awake, as well? Snoredog, It records every second. I can zoom it up to show by second or by minute. I agree that my breathing isn't right during the day and that carries over int...

Doug: Did you ever figure out the cause of that large leak? Large Leak 4 hrs. 34 mins. 67.6% of Night Looks like the SV also uses the 75L/m limit like their other machines for determining Large Leak (indicated by that solid black bar above the leak graph). His Avg Peak IPAP is 11.0; his EPAP is arou...

Re: PB GoodKnight 420E LCD display
Newegg.com has them, they are very cheap, you need a USB to RS232 Serial port adapter.

I found some that didn't work (like the Belkin), most of them use the Prolific serial chip inside. Expect to spend
about $30 bucks for a good one.

Re: Best argument for an autopap??
Note: You shouldn't go by "AHI" on that machine. You should only go by the "AI" or Apnea Index. "HI" on that machine can increase and decrease dramatically on a night to night basis. AHI is somewhat skewed on that machine, so toss it out. AHI can be used to glance at how you are doing, but you want ...

Re: Anybody had problems with their CMS-60D?
averaging, I could see using a shorter averaging period if you wanted to get a snap shot off current readings. the higher 4 and 8 second avg. you mention is what I've read others using. wouldn't surprise me if she forgets to breathe during the day, a lot of people do that. People go around holding t...

Re: Anybody had problems with their CMS-60D?
I think you need to fix your backup mode on your machine cause it clearly ain't a workin. Those two were from daytime recordings. Clearly? I was assuming that was from sleep monitoring. if those are daytime then what is happening at night? Dropping down to 65% ANYTIME is bad. IF that is daytime it ...

Re: Anyone familiar with Servo-Ventilator from Respironics?
It all depends on his pressure, but that leak is way out of whack, any AHI seen would have to be skewed from it. You are correct, that leak rate is out of the ballpark and needs to be addressed. He's either mouth breathing or the tank coupler is missing/leaking on the humidifier. If his pressure is ...

Re: My first night on ASV
Snoredog, thanks for the detailed analysis. Will go with your suggested fixed BPM settings tonight. I might increase IPAP Min by +1cm from your recommendations as I like a little difference between EPAP & IPAP that is fine, use what feels the most comfortable. That won't impact the backup rate any ...

Re: My first night on ASV
your sleep seems to go into the tank once you get into REM. If you look at last night's report, you did pretty good for the first 1.5 hours and before that block of central HI's you start taking some deep breaths, both peak and tidal spike up. Then right after that machine ramps up IPAP pressure. Yo...
