Re: Traveling with CPAP

Good point
Imagine when 9/11 suddenly happened and ALL the passenger aircraft were grounded and you were stuck where ever you were with what ever you had for how ever long?

Re: CPAP Shortage

Everything is tied up on container ships waiting to be unloaded. Saw on the news once they load the cargo on the trains the trains are getting ransacked in LA? So things may never make it to their destination market. Maybe only ONE train, but the LA media . . . Everybody wants recognition, ...

They told me that I didn't have to do anything to supply them with access because they got all the info that they need from the business that I purchased the machine from.
Scary, isn't it? No signed release either.

I do have the auto-start/stop enabled, but looking at the data,
Have you tried turn that off?

You could post the charts showing when it went off to get more comments.

Re: Resmed remote data monitoring

I always bring a copy of my Oscar data with me to the docs. The docs I know are not interested in the charts n graphs just the data to support that you are using the cpap as intended. Most docs do not have the equipment and software to dl data, they rely on the DME to that and send it electronically.

Maybe my experience is different from others, but that IS my experience.
I'm curious as to just how your experience helps the OP?

Re: FDA Update: Certain Philips Respironics Ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP Machines Recalled Due to Potential Health Risks

I received an email today with the below link.
Mostly it talked about registration (if you haven't yet done so) and talking with your doc about whether or not to continue using your device.

APRIA - What is the deal with these people?
You need to contact your insurance to see if another DME is in network for you. Be done with these people.

Re: New medicare (US) machine international travel

I just don’t want the supplier to be able to turn my machine off remotely when I’m out of the country and not send the info to Medicare every month. Talk to your supplier about your situation and how they do their billing. I'm no expert but I'm not aware of them having the ability to turn anyones c...

Re: Distilled Water

Going on a cruise and part of it is on land for 7 days in Alaska. I don't want to lug distilled water around with me while on the land portion. Can I use tap water on the Resmed C-PAP or just not use any water if distilled water is not available. Anyone that has ever been on a cruise knows if you a...

Challenge the charge on your card with the cc company. Challange the bill to your insurance with the insurance company.
+1
+2
You can also say you lost your card when you get this fixed or they will do it again.

Aircurve 10

So yesterday I received a new Aircurve 10 VAuto in the mail. Lucky me or what?
Still getting the pressures tweaked but I should have it down by tonite.
They set the pressures low imo started out at 5.

Re: Service Dogs for Sleep Apnea

Yup... I agree with the majority... but it's about the way things are said and then interpreted here, especially when it's a new person. No one, the one who's been around for awhile or the newbie gains anything when someone comes across as mean and hostile. are you they same ems that said this to a...
