Therapy Consistency
Consistency, I have none in my therapy. I have finally found a mask that I can live with and feel works the best of any I have tried. I was using the Bleep Sleep system for a year or better but I could never come up with a means of dealing with the mouth breathing as I am a terrible mouth breather. ...

Re: Dreamwear Full Face Mask vs Amara View
I now have tried the Dreamwear FFM. I find that I can't get rid of all of the leaks. I am able to tighten things up enough to get to sleep but at some point, during the night I awake to the hissing sound of air leaking. In addition, the mask has moved upward and the leaks are bad. After fooling aro...

Re: Dreamwear Full Face Mask vs Amara View
Masks are different for each person, but I have used both the Amara View and Dreamwear FF mask and for me there is no comparison between them. I could not control leaks with the Amara view because of it's rigid construction. The Dreamwear FF is much more comfortable and I have almost no leaks with ...

Re: Dreamwear Full Face Mask vs Amara Vue
I have tried the Amara Vue and always get leaks that wake me up. I am now researching a better mousetrap. I am looking for reviews or recommendations on the Dreamwear full face mask as it is reported to seal better. Any advice would be appreciated. :?: :?: :?: I use both in rotation. After a few ni...

Re: First Few Nights with Bleep and I'm Still Getting Leaks
Hi Mlandu33 If you disconnect the mask in the morning but leave your Dreamports attached to your nostrils, you can put your thumbs over each of those and see if blowing out air through your nose leaks out around the sticky parts on your skin. ChicagoGranny’s question about dry mouth is the other wa...

Air Leaks
What effect do air leaks have on events?
I have both obstructive and central.
It seems to me that the event number tends to be lower when the leaks are higher.
Is there such a thing as an acceptable number?

Re: Mouth Breathing - Settings Advice Please
I struggle badly with mouth breathing. I have tried headbands, taping, and taping with the headband. Nothing works well. I am a Bleep Sleep user. I have used 3M paper surgical tape, which works best but causes irritation. I have also used Somnifix. I have a ResMed Aircurve 10 VAUTO. Current setting...

Re: TUBE TEMP
I would need to know your current settings with your AirCurve machine to advise comparable settings on the AirSense 10 machine. I would start with the obvious though... out the hose and see if it is even heating up. Turn the hose air temp up to max and run the machine for about 10 minutes...hose ai...

Re: TUBE TEMP
Go warmer. Warm air retains or holds onto more than cool air. All of a sudden I am experiencing Rain Out in a huge way. We keep the room at 68* and have had forever. Could the heated tube have failed? If nothing else has changed...like humidity setting on the machine or new mask, etc...yes, heated ...

Re: Mouth-breathing
Does this negate the use of taping the mouth? That would be great if so? yes, use the scuncis instead of mouth taping. GREAT, I am ordering today. Thanks, I will let you know how it works for me. yes, please. i want to know even if it doesn't work for you. so far, it seems to work for more people t...
