Re: Resmed Airsense 10 alarm clock??

Wow....people simply cannot provide positive serious feedback in these forums. Making jokes out of serious questions. The very first response (mine) was a serious response. The original poster ignored it and never came back. If there's an alarm coming from the machine it's most likely the leak aler...

Dogslobber: No misquote, here is what you said: You are completely wrong about what MyAir is. Nothing dishonest about that at all, it’s EXACTLY what you said. ***************************** Clinicians and DME use AirView. Personally I don’t use MyAir at all, but when I set up originally the app requ...

Re: AirSense AutoSet - different approach to titration?

OAs are not the only metric that the ResMed algorithm responds to. When the algorithm detects snore, flow limitations and hypopneas it also increases pressure. Responding to these, prevents all or most OAs. Setting your minim pressure against your median (median what???) or 95% (95% of what???) is n...

Re: How I prevent the back strap from slip for my mask

For example; I use the P30i and had trouble with the back strap slipping up. A great solution is to take of the native P30i strap and replace it with the Respironics Strap with Arms for their DreamWear mask. Would that arms headgear fit on the AirFit N30i? Slipping straps are giving me headaches. Y...

Re: Upgrading The Defunct Resmed 2G/3G Modems

Confusion about Drs and DMEs using “MyAir”….when questioned about how they get data, my guys say that “AirView” is what they use, not “MyAir” Doctors do use AirView, and not MyAir. Which is what I said, thank you. Yes, you did say that and I acknowledged it. But what you also said was: " As I under...

Re: Figures in colored bars under AHI OSCAR

Please forgive my failing memory, I may have asked these before. I have searched here and other places but can't find answers to: 1. Why do the figures beneath Large Leak (color coded event bars) not have % signs? 2. Are the figures without percent signs percentages, e.g. .68 = 68%? 4. How do the v...

Re: Upgrading The Defunct Resmed 2G/3G Modems

Confusion about Drs and DMEs using “MyAir”….when questioned about how they get data, my guys say that “AirView” is what they use, not “MyAir” As I understand it MyAir is a Bluetooth driven app, while “AirView” is driven by access to the cellular modem in the users device. Doctors do use AirView, an...

Re: Resmed AirSense 11 adapter for SoClean 2 or 3

So researching this, the machines and the masks - - - just what parts are being affected. Let's see if some answers are out there? One ResMed 10 part that has been well documented as being susceptible to ozone is the sound dampening foam. This article is from a CPAP Repair company: https://cpap-rep...

Re: Philips Dreamstation Symbol Question

The manual documents it as the Patient breath indication, with not much else.

This is consistent with it only being on while the mask is on, as without the mask on, the device can't determine when a breath is being taken.

Re: What to do when most/all events are "Clear Airway"?

There really isn't much information in your graphs that one could use to improve your therapy. You're also in straight CPAP mode. One of the advantages of APAP mode is, watching how much and the circumstances of pressure changes can be valuable in finetuning therapy. Looking at some of your events, ...

Re: Upgrading The Defunct Resmed 2G/3G Modems

FYI I just upgraded my AirCurve ASV machine, not that I ever use this machine So your upgrade is untested. The interface between an older 2G/3G modem and a newer 4G modem is plug-in compatible, but there are potential problems that could prevent them from working. Older machines may not have the pr...

Re: How I prevent the back strap from slip for my mask

I'm new on the forum. I would like to see the pictures that "feeling better" has posted related to strap slipping, but they aren't showing. Can anyone help? Adding to what Pugsy posted, you should probably start a new topic and include what type of mask you're using. Masks have different designs an...

Re: AirCurve 10 water tank replacement

The AirCurve 10 and AirSense 10 use the same water tank. I have both machines and use the tank interchangeably. I agree with bwexler, you probably received an Air11 tank, instead of an Air10 tank. The are similar looking. If you do a Google image search, you should be able to see the differences bet...
