Re: Sleep hours

Update: After 3 years of testing, ct scans and medications..... I do not have sinusitis. I was wondering why no allergy meds/sprays worked. Now I know. Had nasal scope Tuesday, nothing abnormal was detected, ENT had a huge monitor in front of me, believe it was 40 inch plus. Solution he sprayed in m...

Re: Sleep hours

My sleep time is highly dependent on the weather. I sleep well 8+ hours in winter, but in summer it's difficult for me to get to sleep and I sleep anxiously, waking up often. Believe, I'm the same way, specially during Tx summer heat. I sleep great during winter months. Should move to Antartica :D

Re: My BiPap is maxed out on pressure and AHI over 5... What's next?

Huh ? You lost me Pugsy :? My pap therapy is fine :D , was wondering cause of op question.

If no alternatives, then sleep data would assist in pressure/AHI. Thought available machines with higher pressures, but guess not. Lil miscommunication.

Re: Is my Ramp Time causing my wakeups?

What do you have your starting pressure at? Mine was at 4. I thought having it higher than 4 was too much because the pressure made me feel like I couldn't breathe. BUT, I think that was with the full face masks. Hi friend, pap therapy takes time getting used to, making adjustments over time. I've ...

Re: My BiPap is maxed out on pressure and AHI over 5... What's next?

Although not maxed out yet, but I thought the same as op, believe what op wanted to know if alternative to Bipap max pressure. Higher pressure pap machine ?

if not then sleep data used can determine why pressure maxed out = increased AHI

Re: Sleep hours

I agree with Pugsy, many medical conditions can cause insomnia, sleep disturbances. Example, when I take Naproxen for inflammation, I sleep restful, but was told not to take often due to possible kidney damage. When I take antibiotics for infections, I sleep wonderful. Why does Naproxen/antibiotics ...

Re: Sleep hours

I'm another one that wakes up after about 5 or, more often, 6 hours of sleep. It's just a little better than a coin flip if I can get back to sleep after that. I always feel better during the day if I've gotten 7 or more hours of sleep, hardly ever get 8 hours. And if I've had a good night's sleep,...

Re: Is my Ramp Time causing my wakeups?

Now, you have me wondering, if congestion is causing my wake ups. I can breathe through my nose just fine during daytime hrs. But doctors always look up my nose, state I'm congested. Well, I see ENT in 3 weeks, will know for sure. As for ramp time, I turned mine off. From what I remember, felt like ...
