I have edited my post below to indicate that the Sleep Quality setting on
S9 machines does not affect the data recorded on the SD card. It only affects
the data available on the machine's display.

I just dug out my Quattro FX and compared it the the Swift FX. Both ends are the same size on mine.

Is the end of the short hose of the Swift FX somehow different from the end of the swivel on the Quattro FX?
