Re: Sleeping poorly with good machine numbers?
Thanks everyone. I used to use the Sleepyhead softwear, but awhile back we had trouble loading it on a new system. I'm totally stupid with computers, but I'll try to talk DH into trying to load that up again. Tbonz..........you're right about the fibro and OA messing things up. Right now, I'm dealin...

Sleeping poorly with good machine numbers?
Hi. I haven't been here in a while. I've been using cpap for about 11 years now. In the last year though, I started waking up 3-4 times a night. Fortunately, I go back to sleep fairly quickly. I only sleep about 5-7 hours a night. My mask is an old version of the swift nasal and I tape my mouth. My ...

Re: Mirage Swift pillow versus Mirage Swift ll
Thanks Greg. It just feels like it won't let me expire easily, but who knows......maybe that would help. I'm too aware of slight changes, so I might have to just bite the bullet and see if I can adapt. I called the local Lincare, hoping to speak to one of the newer people who actually do a good job,...

Mirage Swift pillow versus Mirage Swift ll
I've been using the Mirage Swift pillow for about 10 years. I think when I tried to order some pillows the last time, they said I had to go to a Mirage Swift ll pillow. I tried it and it feels like my expiration is harder. Has anyone experienced this? It's uncomfortable, but maybe I just need to get...

Re: Rage, Depression - Changes with CPAP?
Yep.....it takes awhile to heal. Patience grasshopper! Also....if eventually you don't feel more in control of your rage and depression, you might want to try a medication. They can make a big difference. People seem to really fight taking those...........but if they make your life worth living, why...

Re: Going by machine numbers........
Thanks everyone. Yes, I have fibromyalgia and bad knees/hands/feet. There are a potential number of reasons for my pain, but my internist always wants to start with sleep quality......which is a great idea. But my AHI and leak rate are always good. But like some of you have suggested.......it defini...

Re: Newbie question - Nasal CPAP won't stay on
I have no idea what mask is which, but I wear Swift nasal pillows and use the original headgear. All I want to say is don't be afraid to construct new ways of making yours fit better. I pinned a wide piece of elastic around the back of my head, around each side of the headgear and it made all the di...

Going by machine numbers........
Hi all. I haven't been here in a long time. I'm using the original swift nasal pillows and I tape my mouth. I have a ResMed S9 auto cpap, but I use the straight cpap. I have fibromyalgia and pretty bad osteoarthritis. I developed worsening total body muscle/joint pain a few months ago. I thought it ...

Question about Sleepyhead software
I hadn't downloaded any of my Sleepyhead data for several months. I still have the older version (9.3-0). I downloaded it this morning, and it shows that there are intermittent times when I nothing shows........like I hadn't used my cpap. One was a month and a half long. Why is this? It did show the...

Re: Help with running the Sleepyhead program
Hi Pugsy,
The old version is 0.9.3.
Knowing that, what should I do next? If I can't get all the old data and transfer it to the new computer, it's probably best to move it to a flash drive.
In the meantime, I'll try to install the one listed in your signature.
Thanks!

Hi Pugsy,
Where would I find that info? Today I just went to the Sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead.

Help with running the Sleepyhead program
I'm warning you up front.......I'm not very bright with computers. We've recently set up a new computer. We've changed from Windows XP to Windows 7 Professional. The Sleepyhead program was running well on the old machine. I've tried to install it on this new machine. It downloads the program, but I ...

Sleepyhead and computer question
This computer is very old, so hubby set up a new one and transferred pretty much everything to the new one. He left the old one running, until I could get adjusted to the new one. Here's my question: The new computer doesn't seem to recognize sleepyhead, when I insert my data card. When I go to re-i...

Are these 2 things interchangeable?
I have the old original Swift headgear, pillow, etc. I asked for more of those and the local Lincare sent me the right head thing, but the piece that holds the pillow (and the pillow) are different. She said they are from the Swift 2. I've read they are not interchangeable, but she said to try it. W...
