Re: Oscar's 'Best Device Setting'
Oscar's 'Best Device Setting' Huh? I think this is only available on the updated version from September 2023 ? When you open Oscar on the right side under 'Records' tab it marks your 'best device settings' from all the data imported from your SD card. My 'best device setting' is not one of my best ...

Re: Mask Pressure
Here is a screenshot capturing the entire night. https://postimg.cc/1g6ZXcQ3
The leak occurred because the tape peeled off as a result of excessive humidity (I'll be reducing that tonight).

Re: Mask Pressure
Your focus remains on your mask pressure, but I'd recommend that you pay more attention to your flow rate, where you'll see that again you were holding your breath. Starting at around 3:05, your breathing looks as though you might be partly awake. (It's not nice and regular, like the breathing befo...

Oscar's 'Best Device Setting'
Oscar's 'Best Device Setting' doesn't match my experience. What criteria do they use? One of my worst night was labeled 'best.'

Re: Mask Pressure
Both screenshots seem to show that you're holding your breath and then having arousal breathing. I don't know what causes you to hold your breath; maybe you're turning over? It appears that your mask pressure changes in response to your breathing pattern. I changed my cpap pressure last night back ...

Mask Pressure
It seems that I wake up every time my mask pressure drops during the night. Coincidence ?
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation or has suggestions on how to fix it?
I've attached data from two different nights, each with different pressure settings, to illustrate the problem.

Re: ResMed Airsense 11 Inhalation sound ?
Ok. Make sure when you fill your tank that it is under the "Max" line. Don't fill it to or above the "Max" line, that was what my DME instructed me to do as well as make sure your hose is not all the way into the elbow, you need to still see some of the white part of the hose. One more thing, does ...

Re: ResMed Airsense 11 Inhalation sound ?
@cpapexplorer: Contact your insurance company to let them know you received a malfunctioning machine. It is not supposed to make that noise, there is not to be any feedback of inhalation with your machine. It is very quiet. The DME is supposed to either come out or have you bring it in to see what ...

Re: ResMed Airsense 11 Inhalation sound ?
Try removing your humidifier and firmly place it back in. You may have to use a little force (not enough to damage). If that does not work - remove the hose and the humidifier. The outlet where the hose go inside will have a gray latch where you can press it and remove the outlet. Make sure the gas...

Re: CPAP Struggles: Seeking Answers for Restful Sleep!
I woke up to find my CPAP mask on the floor, and it appears I've been unknowingly removing it in the middle of the night for the past three nights. I've noticed erratic flow rate (don't know what it is) toward the end of the night. I wonder if this could be the cause of my unconscious mask removal. ...

Re: CPAP Masks for Deviated Septum and Congestion
The hybrid types of masks are considered full face masks. We used to have only 2 official "hybrid" masks but there have been some new guys to the market in the last few years. When a mask covers the nose and mouth (either over the nose or under the nose) it is considered a full face mask. If a mask...

Re: Bluetooth Pulse Oximeter for AirSense 11
With that said thou, if a doc prescribes an overnight oximeter, I'd prefer the DME spend that kind of money. My experience has been that most DMEs will provide free of charge an oximeter and report back to the doctor. I want to pair it with my AirSense 11 CPAP device to enhance my sleep monitoring ...
