Re: Cover-Roll Stretch vs MedVance Silicone Tape
Technical question regarding taping the mouth- is the purpose to cover the mouth completely so no air can escape? I've seen that some people tape vertically just at the center of the mouth. I tried this and (being a chronic mouth breather) I just exhaled around the tape. Should I tape my mouth comp...

Re: Cover-Roll Stretch vs MedVance Silicone Tape
This is what I do (been taping for about 18 months): - When napping I use the MedVance Silicone Tape and reuse it about 2 -3 times. The main reason why I only use for napping is that I put lanolin on my lips at bedtime and the MedVance pulls right off. - Every night I use 2” kinesiology tape (Griff ...

Re: P30i & N30i mask question
Yes, the P30i pillows and N30i cushions are interchangeable with the frame & headgear. That is one of the beauties and convenience of this mask. One lady I know alternates the pillows and cushions. I only use the cushions and can’t use pillows.

Re: Inspire lacking inspiration - A mini rant
Your mini rant is well justified. In my area there are full page print newspaper ads touting Inspire. One of my friends gave me the ad in the event I was interested. Definitely NOT interested and thanked them for thinking of me. I too have seen the advert you mentioned and found it awful. Also, the ...

Re: Hose swivel
I use a ResMed N30i primarily which has the top of the head swivel. It is very quiet as is the mask itself. I sleep on my back and right side and it stays in place. I do not toss and turn. As one poster stated, finding a mask that works for you is a journey. My own journey saw 12 - 13 masks and ulti...

Re: Add PM2.5 filtering to a CPAP machine
I recall reading a few comments about people in Australia cutting down the PM 2.5 filter for their machines (I believe they were using ResMed machines) during the bush fires a few years ago. That said, I am unaware of any adverse affects on the machine as a result.

Re: Prices of supplies sky high!
If you are in the US I suggest Amazon. Lots of people buy supplies there. I have also purchased items on sale from various online CPAP vendors.

Re: Phillips Respironics Dreamwear Problem
Agree that it may be an incorrect frame size. I was gifted a DreamWear fit pack from a friend. It was the standard size frame and much too big for me. I purchased a small frame which worked fine. Ended up going back to the N30i (small frame) because the small-wide cushion worked better than the Drea...

Re: Using eucalyptus with CPAP for persistent blocked nose
Do what works for you as there is no research on this subject that I’m aware of. I have an essential oil diffuser that attaches to the hose. I only use is a few times a year when my nose gets stuffy and in my situation have no need for it any other time. For a persistent blocked nose perhaps it is w...

Re: CPAP Supplies Last Up To 4x Longer in Austrlia per ResMed - Or Is It That Allowed Insurance Replacement Rules Differ
Every 3 months I receive a phone call from my CPAP supplier asking what I need and what insurance will allow. If I don’t need anything they will call again in 3 months. I keep 2 spares of everything and use my nasal cushions until they start leaking. I’m not one to be wasteful and truly appreciate t...

Has Stuart considered a recycling program? Send back your used magnets for re-use? Excellent idea! I was chatting with Stuart via email earlier today and suggested we all save our magnets and have contest creating Halo art. My brain kicked into overdrive with all the things that we can create with ...

Re: bleep changed?
When I beta tested I separated the adhesive from the metal ring and gave the rings to my husband. He is a McGyver kinda guy and undoubtedly find a use for them down the road. He also does things with the hoses when they croak.

Re: BleepSleep for mouth breathers?
I’m not a mouth breather and regardless of mask, Bleep or N30i my jaw drops. Been using tape for over a year with excellent results. About 3-4 months ago I switched from 3M Nexcare for Sensitive Skin to Griff Grip kinesiology tape. It is spendy but I’m still using the first roll I bought this summer...
