Re: Is less humidity required for a nasal over full face mask
Which three drugs are you taking and at what dosage and at what time of day? [/quote] I’m not sure if it’s 3, but it’s just a lot for a night time routine. So I went to the ENT doctor a few weeks ago. They said there’s nothing really going on in my nasal cavities, but she thinks it might be anatomic...

Re: Is less humidity required for a nasal over full face mask
I have tried messing around with the humidity settings and it worked 1 night out of 7. That's been about my luck with cpap therapy since November. I get about 1 night good sleep a week on average, its so inconsistent. I usually kept everything on Auto with my heated hose and humidity but learned tha...

Re: Is less humidity required for a nasal over full face mask
Hey, sorry to revive this 12 year old thread but I have been experiencing a lot of nasal congestion from switching over to the Bleep Dreamports and was wondering what was causing it. It makes sense that the body sees something invading. I am going to switch to my full face mask again I think, but it...

Re: Accuracy of OSCAR Data and RESMED Data
I understand. Well I slept with my bleeps last night after cleaning my nasal passages with navage. Slept amazing. I woke up once from mouth leak , pretty rapidly I think I just turned on my back. Once I fell back asleep I didn’t wake up and got almost 8 hours of sleep. So only waking up once is a bi...

Re: Accuracy of OSCAR Data and RESMED Data
I would really like an alternative to this apap stuff ive been using. My apnea is pretty mild at 11.0 and I think if I can reduce my neck size I can get much better sleep. When I used those nasal strips alone, they helped me so much. What if I just used nasal strips and a chin strap would that be en...

Re: Accuracy of OSCAR Data and RESMED Data
Thank you Lazarus and Pugsy for those last two replies, it makes my original question a lot easier to understand. -I believe what is happening is my daytime routines are causing my sleep habits to not do as well. I need to eat better and exercise more to keep my anxiety levels normal. Also, my nose ...

Re: Accuracy of OSCAR Data and RESMED Data
Yeah, sorry I didn’t mean to start anything with this. My main concern was basically the myair app says I had a 100 night when it felt like a 70 night to me. However I’ve been on therapy for nearly a year now, maybe that initial feeling better is just hard to achieve a lot of the time. I’m sure it’s...

Re: Accuracy of OSCAR Data and RESMED Data
I have read that it can help with therapy and is safer. I think the substantial change from exhaling and then inhaling might be waking me up as well once I get to higher levels? It was several places I’ve read that not just one. But a majority of people say if it works for me it’s fine because every...

Re: Accuracy of OSCAR Data and RESMED Data
Thank you for the replies. So I did a test last night. Usually I change a bunch of stuff and I never know which helped or which didn’t. Anyways, I caught myself doing that and just changed one thing. I set my min pressure to 5 and my max pressure to 10. I figured since my average over a year was 5 a...

Re: Accuracy of OSCAR Data and RESMED Data
OSCAR just reports whatever data the machine records and writes to the SD card. So OSCAR's accuracy is going to depend on the machine's accuracy....which is pretty darn accurate. There may be some very minor differences in some numbers due to rounding up or down. The machine only goes to one decima...

Accuracy of OSCAR Data and RESMED Data
Hi Guys I had a few other questions in the forum and I appreciate all the assistance so far. Anyways, this question is in regards to how accurate the data is coming from my machine and OSCAR program. I am a mouth breather most of my life. I've been using the nasal masks because they're so much more ...

Prices on masks
Can someone suggest a good place online to get a decently priced mask? I wanted to try the f30i but they’re asking more than $150 wherever I go online. Which means insurance is probably charging like $179 for it?
