Re: CPAP Supplies Last Up To 4x Longer in Austrlia per ResMed - Or Is It That Allowed Insurance Replacement Rules Differ

Don't be ashamed of getting spares, because nobody is open at night, when breakdowns ALWAYS happen. an extra water chamber for each (per you post no one is open in the middle of the night if you drop one and break it), OMG, so true! You cannot imagine my panic when I dropped the water chamber for m...

Re: newbie—can you help with mask choose (Asian female) & air settings

About the cold hose, I find that 70 degrees is too cool for me. While I like my room temp cool (67-68 degrees in winter, 71-72 in summer), that low a tube temp makes the tip of my nose cold! I set it closer to 76-78 degrees. Everyone's comfort level varies, but you may want to try increasing, ...

Re: Bursts of air coming out of mouth, CPAP no longer usable

I know you said you are having mouth leaks, but I will share my experience with the Nuance Pro. Please bear in mind that everyone's experience varies. I used the Nuance Pro off and on before using the Bleep, it was the least objectionable "traditional" mask for me. However, I found that the pillows ...

Re: Machine cutoff/overheating

I would try plugging it directly into an outlet and placing it on a hard surface.

That said, a new power supply, as suggested above, might also be a good idea.

Re: newbie—can you help with mask choose (Asian female) & air settings

First, I am not Asian. But I am a Bleep user, both the original DreamPorts and the new Eclipse Halo, which is wonderful! It IS very secure and should fit just about anyone. If your DME won't try to get it for you, there is at least one online DME that will file insurance for it and they will check t...

Re: Scratchy/puffy eyes

I have to use a silicone eye mask to protect my eyes. It has been a life-saver for me. I highly recommend Eye Seals 4.0. It comes in clear or opaque options, so you can either seal through it if you need to get up during the night (they do not recommend it, but I always did without issue) or opaque ...

Re: Comfortable Nasal Pillow Sought

Have you considered the Bleep, now the Eclipse Halo? No head gear, leak-free, nothing to go into the nose. Yes, there is some prep before bed to apply, but no adjustment during the night (no mask slippage on face, no headgear riding up on head, no airflow into eyes, etc.). It is the only mask I was ...

Re: Are There Any Decent Travel CPAPs?

One consideration for those who want to carry their pap in their carry on bag-for some smaller connecting flights they may require carry on bags be checked. That being the case, I know for me personally, I would NOT want to be apart from my cpap. JAT Very true. IF I were in that situation, I would ...

Re: Bleep Eclipse DME Provider

I signed up with Aeroflow to get my Eclipse through my (cr**py) insurance. They called me Friday to say they were getting prepping my order to ship. Unfortunately, all the paperwork did not process until Tuesday (holiday Monday), so I have to meet a new deductible! Which means my copay is 15%-25% m...

Re: Bleep Eclipse...so far

So after posting a couple of days ago that I noticed more noise with the Eclipse (and it was with the inhale), last night was perfectly silent! I'm not sure what the difference was, or if maybe I was more tired or I just am more used to it. But whatever, I hope it continues. :D Fortunately, when it ...

Re: Very High Uncontrolled Pressure ResMed Airsense

You might also want to check with another DME. The DME I am signed up with did not have machines available when I got a new Rx in November and were not sure when they would get new stock. They thought MAYBE December, but my insurance is c**p and I had met my deductible for 2022. So I called another ...

Re: Bleep Eclipse...so far

For the last 3 nights I have tried my darndest to get the Eclipse to make some noise. I failed. It is silent....for me anyway....totally silent. Nothing I can do to make me hear any noise of any sort...no inhale...no exhale.....no nothing. I can't even get any bounce back noise when I bury my nose ...

Re: Bleep Eclipse...so far

I am loving the Bleep Eclipse but I find it to be a little noisy. It's not noise due to leaks, my leak is literally 0 (which is amazing by the way!). It seems like when I inhale I can hear the sound of air rushing. Has anyone experienced this? Sounds like the air is coming from the diffuser. Yes, a...
