Re: nasal congestion question
Are you taking anything for allergies? My congestion improved vastly after being diagnosed with allergic rhinitis, and taking a nightly OTC antihistamine. It first came with a decongestant, but I realized I only need the antihistamine. My doctor recommended it after I complained about frequent cases...

Re: Accidentally erasing stored data on CPAP machine
I can totally change the time on my Airsense 10; But I choose not to. DST is stupid. Once I retired, I no longer have to play that damn game. What game is that? I'm retired too but I still like to know what the correct time is once in a while. I have clocks for that--on the wall, nightstand, microw...

The AHI reported by the cpap is TREATED.
The low numbers only mean your cpap is effective.
I can see fine with my glasses--but can't see crap without them.
Same thing.

Re: Semi-OT reminder: Never leave melatonin out for the visiting grandkids to get to.
We had neighbors who lost a toddler, due to finding his mother's iron supplement. This was in the early 60's. Almost anything can be deadly. Kids are very clever at getting things open. "Child-safe" containers are little more than a challenge to a bored child. Lock and key is better; at least until ...

Right after my post, I watched Adam Savage build a guitar case for Eric Idle on YT.

I would trust what you see on the machine itself.
That data is closer to the source--and MyAir is slightly suspect, IMHO.

Re: Medicare and Masks
So, "Mask of patient's choice" is no longer acceptable?
That kind of makes it harder to get started successfully.

Cellular signals are dependent on the locations of cell towers, as seen outdoors. --big, tall constructions, with large-ish dish antennae hanging off the side. Wi-fi requires a compatible device within a few FEET, like in McD's or at home. The hardware is very small, as is the signal strength. Linka...

Re: valves seem to close when I exhale
If you are looking at a flexible valve at the front of a full face mask, that is the ANTI-ASPHYXIA valve. It should be closed unless your machine is not running, like in a power outage. The exhaust vents always release gases while the cpap is running. They wash out carbon dioxide, which you want gon...

Does Trident contain xylitol?
I hear that's why xylimelts work.
If so, Trident could be an alternative to xylimelts.
Thank you, Granny, for sharing.
