Re: I too am a week in.
Thank goodness I'm not a mouth breather, it would freak me out taping my mouth shut like that. Neither am I a mouth breather, why I selected the nasal pillows, but during REM sleep atonia my jaw, and I imagine your’s too, relaxes and I blow raspberries or just let the wind howl out of my mouth. You...

Re: I too am a week in.
Three nights in a row of Best Sleep Ever. And, yes, not an epiphany so much as a dawning realization. I cured my leak rate by taping my mouth shut with duct tape. I am waiting for my Goldstream Deep Sleep CPAP accessory. It appears to be a piece of soft plastic tape that goes between lips and teeth...

Re: One week in - results
After the bathroom run a 2:30 or so, the machine ran the pressure up to 13 pretty quickly. But I don't see any event associated with the pressure increase. Why did it do that? Since the snore chart wasn't shown, and I don't see anything *much* on the FL chart, I'd have to think that there was a bat...

Re: One week in - results
hey midwest - I'm new at this as well. Sounds like you're doing great. I'm not qualified at all to interpret your chart, but I have a question that I'd ask the experts if this were my chart. After the bathroom run a 2:30 or so, the machine ran the pressure up to 13 pretty quickly. But I don't see a...

One week in - results
Alright, so I got my ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset a week ago. I chose the nasal pillows as those felt more comfortable to me while in the office as opposed to the mask. I'm also not a mouth-breather at all, so why not? While I was in the office, the sleep technician turned the machine on while it was ...

Yep, called that one. Probably some db issue or something.MurrayNevada wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 1:44 pmmyAir is currently experiencing technical difficulties. You may experience a delay in receiving new sleep data. Thank you for your patience.
The above is at the top of the MyAir website.

Re: Sleepyhead Import
Confirming. The data on my card stays on the card after import into Sleepyhead. * Edit: I writeblock the card before inserting it into the reader for import into Sleephead. Windows operating systems sometimes have a nasty habit of adding some system files to what it views as an external drive for re...

Re: No Data Transmission
I'm in the exact same boat. No data transmission since 8AM on July 2nd. I did the requisite checking on my machine and everything is normal, airplane mode is off, machine showing bars, I even pulled the plug and waiting about 10 minutes to plug it back in. No dice. I'm guessing this is a problem on ...

Re: Central Apnea - Newly Diagnosed
Thank you all for the kind welcome and the wealth of information thus far. I have an update. I spoke with my personal physician yesterday (who, unbeknownst to me, was classically trained in sleep disorders before moving into general practice). It was a fruitful discussion, and she requested copies o...

Re: Central Apnea - Newly Diagnosed
Thanks Pugsy. I'm not prone to "freak outs", so maybe that was too strong of a word. Let's call it "concerned". Anyway, I've been reading some first hand experiences of people with CSA, and even though I have been diagnosed with it, mine is apparently very mild (10.9 AHI) Some of the terrifying thin...

Newly Diagnosed? (One year update!)
Hi all - I just received a diagnosis from my neurologist after having a sleep study done. Apparently, I have central sleep apnea, meaning it's non-obstructive, but neurological. I guess the part of my brain that controls respiration / muscle contractions doesn't work so well. My AHI was 10.9, which ...
