Re: Altitude - Climbing above 10,000
1. Is there a machine that will work this high? Quite simply. no. Read these... https://sleepapnea.sleep-disorders.net/living/cpap-high-elevation https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3837559/ If you have any respiratory issues (of any sort- awake or asleep) you serioulsy need to consider th...

Re: Does modem on Resmed AirSense 11 work internationally?
Anyone knows if AS11 modem and reports work internationally? It will depend on the state of the WAN networks in the countries you to travel to, both interms of standards/bands available and scope of network coverage. In general, the urban areas of most Westernised countries should be fine. Otherwis...

Re: Insurance changed my CPAP equipment (presumably without notifying my doctor)
I got the impression the 11 wasn’t that big of an upgrade Your impressions really don't amount to anything much interms of sucessful therapy outcomes. The modem is whatever, but the DME said that my insurance demanded live information updates, so they changed it to the 11 (it seems like they could’...

Re: AHI not good metric to determine CPAP effectiveness
"Very few OSA patients have no other health problems. Since few people in the population at large have no health problems , that is just an extremely facile assertion. While it is certainly true that xPAP therapy does not address all Disordered Sleep Breathing health problems, nonetheless it does s...

The fact they sell like hotcakes is pretty compelling evidence that for so many its not a big deal at all.Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 9:54 amThe fact that so many do find the AirMini's noise to be problematic, is pretty compelling evidence that for some, it is a big deal.

Re: Are There Any Decent Travel CPAPs?
It appears that there are A LOT of people who are very displeased with their Airmini due to it being very noisy. Now, having never actually heard one I cannot personally vouch for how they really sound but I don't want to invest $1K in a machine that's going to keep me awake! Firstly ANY travel xPA...

Re: Airfit P10 mold in vent, does it mean mold in the cpap?
The "black" that slowly builds up on mask exhaust filters is just the fine particulate matter that is in all ambient air. It is not visible under normal circumstances until quite a lot of it has accumulated in one spot. The short-term standard for PM 2.5 (24-hour or daily average) is 35 micro...

Re: Question About ResMed N30i Frame/Cushion
Seems the new frame and old cushion aren't compatible. I couldn't get one side of the cushion to connect to the frame. You will most likely find that the hard plastic connecting piece from your old nose piece is still in the headgear assembly, and that is why the new nose piece won't go in. You sho...

Re: How do you keep the airmini from falling on the floor??
The additional AirMini Mount System pack, which includes the drawer clip, also includes a strap you can put between a mattress and the bed base. It has the locking adapter on the end for engaging with the AirMini caddy. It has worked very well for me when travelling. https://shop.resmed.com.au/resme...

Re: Want schematic for Resmed Airmini
Can anyone tell if it's possible to get the schematic? If that's impossible, can anyone tell me if it's possible to just buy a new board? Both are not possible unless you are authorised to undertake the repair of therapeutic goods by the relevant medical regulatory authority and approved by the sup...
