Re: Do I need to turn off EPR and go CPAP?
Hey Zonker! Always appreciate your wisdom! I seem to be trying to fix something that ain't broke! I haven't played with my settings for a very long time so fell for the temptation, newer approach has got to be better! As you well stated, not necessarily so, we are unique individuals! Best! https://...

Re: Do I need to turn off EPR and go CPAP?
Should I stick with my APAP settings or give the CPAP settings more nights to see how I respond? stick with apap, in my opinion. just because something works for many people doesn't necessarily mean it will work for you. i've spent many years on this forum. I've read all kinds of things that people...

Re: Apria or Lincare
They brought out a 10 and argued when I said we wanted the 11. I simply don't understand the attitude. not just with CPAP but with everything else. if you don't know what the hell you're talking about, why are you in the business? sheesh! I also don't understand why my spell checker now insists tha...

Re: Help required to reduce AHI and Aerophagia
Here's a link to last night's report where I upped the minimum pressure to 5 - https://imgur.com/a/WqWFn9b One of my better AHI scores in the past couple of weeks with Hypopneas remaining the main issue. As in the past few days I woke up earlier than hoped (around 7.15am) and struggled to return to...

Brilliant, that's one less thing to worry about! Thank you all for your help. I'm much more positive about CPAP than I was this morning :D when you come back in, bright eyed and bushy tailed, please continue the conversation right here in this thread. this is now your therapy thread. just makes it ...

Re: Help required to reduce AHI and Aerophagia
One last question (for now!) - sometimes when I put my mask on and can't sleep, my AHI score can get extremely high even though I'm awake. Is this normal or is there any explanation for this? Here's a link to a graph from a night recently when I just couldn't get to sleep and my AHI score was 14.1 ...

Re: Help required to reduce AHI and Aerophagia
Thanks for your reply zonker. I can certainly try raising the minimum pressure to 7. Should I change the max pressure too? Also, do you think increasing the minimum pressure will affect my aerophagia? https://i.imgur.com/A4ZkFvf.gif prolly will. so try raising that pressure in increments rather tha...
