Re: Any way to make a heavy climate-control hose less awkward?
I use the same hose and I know what you're talking about. I use a very simple hose manager. It's just a ring, made from a cable tie that has an eyelet, that's attached to the wall behind the bed (no headboard). The hose goes into the ring and gets supported there. Check this out, my son uses somethi...

Re: Philips Data Breach
I received the same letter from Philips.
At first, I thought that it had something to do with the payout on the recalled machines. but no, another screw up related to Philips. Imagine that?

Wipe it down, dust it off. Make sure that everything is completely dry and you'll be fine storing it.

Hose management. I squashed a hose long ago. Must have rolled over it with my fat butt. Learned my lesson. "This is my second hose and it keeps getting flattened all the way from the machine to the mask" All the way from the machine to the mask. Hey Chunky, do you have your machine IN the bed with ...

Re: Husband says CPAP is scary and unattractive...
I just read the OP's post out loud to my wife. Oh boy is she worked up, me too!!! Your husband sounds like a narcissist, a selfish, emotionally abusive narcissist and you should not have to put up with his BS. "Despite what this post will sound like, I do have a wonderful, kind husband. I love him, ...

Re: Teeth Problems
Before I used my machine I had perfect teeth. I found out that the use of the machine and the air pressure can ruin your teeth. I now have 2 broken teeth and 2 cavities that need filled. Does anyone else have problems now due to their machine? You found out that the use of a cpap machine can ruin y...

Re: Can climate affect sleep apnea?
Are you sleeping outside or in the house? What's the temp and humidity inside at bedtime?
We have programmable thermostat and have it set to reduce the temp in the house by 6 degrees at 10pm, we like it colder in the house for sleeping.

If you can't find anywhere to take your cpap consider electronics recycling. Best Buy offers this service and allows you to drop off two to three items at a time. They recycle only, so don't bother bringing in the accessories or tubing.

Re: Conduct noise from TV audio
I have a Philips Dream Station CPAP machine. It is new and very quiet. No noise from filters, hoses, masks or humidification. Here's my problem. I live in an apartment building. At night it is dead quiet. I put on the CPAP machine and mask and it is very quiet. If the neighbor in the adjoining apar...
