Re: Half of my ClimateLine tubing hoses have been twisted
As I recall, somebody puts theirs in the dryer--not too long, though. The exact time escapes me . . . that was palerider, iirc. and i see the op has already did that method and has had success! Yes, all correct. Including the success, so far anyway. The tubing was cool when I took it off the railin...

Re: Half of my ClimateLine tubing hoses have been twisted
What can I do to loosen up these bad hoses so they just droop where gravity takes them? Or can I contact my supply vendor and ask that a replacement hose be sent? Four hoses in one year, with two of them not to my liking is a pretty bad batting average. I haven't seen anything like this with mine. ...

Half of my ClimateLine tubing hoses have been twisted
In my year or so on CPAP, my original and third ClimateLine heated tubing hoses have been fine. But the second and fourth have been twisted with a mind of their own, and for the money I'm paying for the things, that's disappointing. This isn't a standard "hose management" issue. My mask fits fine, a...

Re: New AirFit P10 pillows; new awful mask seal
I received six sets in the new supplies. Not expecting that another set of pillows will see the five month mark for the duration of my life.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:03 pmYou used the same set of pillows for FIVE MONTHS?
I am not surprised at all that new pillows would feel different.
Those old ones were WORN OUT.

Re: New AirFit P10 pillows; new awful mask seal
Well, I feel silly, but relieved. The leak wasn't on my end, or even along the airline - the water tank wasn't fully snapped into place! When I got into bed last night, the mask felt fine on my face, but - as I remembered from the prior nights - there was a quite-audible hissing from the machine. Wh...

Re: New AirFit P10 pillows; new awful mask seal
Thanks for the many good replies here. I guess I'll just play around night by night and see what happens. Yes, as multiple people noted, since I'm sleeping well and have decent AHI, probably little to worry about. In my original post, I neglected to note that, in watching a mask-fitting video, there...

New AirFit P10 pillows; new awful mask seal
After five months with my first set of CPAP supplies, last week I received my first replacements, and something's not right with the pillows. Just straight out of the box - long before I went to bed - I could just tell the new pillows felt wrong. They didn't "mate" right with my nostrils (yes, they ...

Re: Airsense 10 data reporting schedule?
All the MyAir data and MORE are on your screen's Sleep Report the minute you wake up. (assuming the "Essentials" is changed to Plus on the settings menu). Hmm, I did not know that. But my "Essentials" was already "Plus." It's not that big a deal, just a curiosity. I do like to have my report access...

Re: Airsense 10 data reporting schedule?
When does the Airsense 10 "report" its collected overnight data so results are available on the app or web? http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t114647/data-is-not-showing-on-MYAIR.html oddly enough, found this in a google search. it was the number one hit!! An interesting read, although I find it od...

Airsense 10 data reporting schedule?
When does the Airsense 10 "report" its collected overnight data so results are available on the app or web? My sense has been that it's the first quarter-hour 61-75 minutes after the last mask removal. For example, take off the mask from 7:00-7:14, the report will happen at 8:30; take mask off 7:15-...

Re: Is Dawn the best mask cleaning detergent. What other detergents do people use?
For my mask (nasal pillows), I swab it with a washcloth after my shower most days. On mornings when I'm running the dishwasher, I'll put the mask in it. Put the strap around an upright prong, pull around another prong, bring it back, and put the end that connect to the hose over the starting prong, ...

Re: Too much minimum pressure?
Without data , which you don't have, it's all a guessing game. I respect and appreciate the efforts of the many who readily answer questions of people like me, who come to the board only when they have a question or a problem. That said, I don't CARE if it's a guessing game. My doctor is happy with...

Re: Too much minimum pressure?
Go figure. The 2.6 must have been a blip. Last night was 0.4 AHI with zero mask leakage. Addressing a couple other points: Fie on me for chasing a goal that my doctor says is stupid, and about which my friends who've attained don't care. I have friends who consistently get 0 AHI. There is no good re...

Too much minimum pressure?
I've been playing on occasion with the minimum pressure setting on my unit. Last night I moved it from 7.0 to 8.0, and kabloom, my AHI went to 2.6, my highest number since my first week, and a rare-for-me incursion over 2. My mask seal score soared too, although not so high as to knock my Resmed sco...
