Re: I'm having a hard time sleeping with the CPAP masks
So this has all been a big "Troll" job? If so, I don't really see the humor. Bunch of folks playing multiple identities? Weird.

Re: Can't get AHI below 38
Ar least, in my case, it was my Dr. who told me how much my insurance would cover and how much I would pay. He was correct. Guess many Drs. these days are quite familiar with the more common insurances.

Re: I'm having a hard time sleeping with the CPAP masks
Learn to use Sleepy Head..... this is a good example of why it's better to follow along before offering suggestions. the machine that e has isn't compatible with sleepyhead. e is very easily confused by anything that's not very simply presented, and mis-information is very confusing to him. while i...

Re: I'm having a hard time sleeping with the CPAP masks
Does the head pressure keep on reducing or does it stop right here? A lot of people say that they used to have mild head pressure when they woke up. I think that's sort of where I'm almost at. Before, I had crushing head pressure. It does seem less now, but the fact is that I will know when I'm tru...

Re: Honey before bed for good sleep?
Fermented honey only occurs when honey is harvested before it has cured. Which basically means processing uncapped honey comb...... a real no no. I've never seen fermented honey and I was once a commercial beekeeper. Guess Bee Maid will buy almost anything..... another reason to buy raw. BTW.... an...

Re: Honey before bed for good sleep?
make sure your honey is raw and organic, since most grocery store brands are imported Why does it have to be raw? There is no nutritional difference between raw and pasteurized. And who wants to get deadly food poisoning from raw honey? before spreading your FUD, you might want to spend a few secon...

Re: Honey before bed for good sleep?
Why does it have to be raw? There is no nutritional difference between raw and pasteurized. And who wants to get deadly food poisoning from raw honey? Because most "pasteurized" honey is adulterated with sugar water. . As well as being heated (Not Good) in order to pass through filters to remove th...

Re: Honey before bed for good sleep?
I wonder where they get the "Organic" honey. My bees don't pay any attention to me when I tell them to forage only on organic vegetation. Bees feed in an 81 sq. mile area around the hive typically.

Re: I'm having a hard time sleeping with the CPAP masks
Well I got near a full nights sleep with the CPAP. I set it on auto. I think it was delivering pressure around 7 cm. While the crushing headache seems to be dissipating, my eyes feel tired and I'm still not really refreshed in all honesty. So even though I probably feel better, I don't feel good. I...

Re: I'm having a hard time sleeping with the CPAP masks
I'm sure everybody is different, but the mask seems to help me sleep. Crazy, I know. Your body and mind need time to accept and adjust. I know it sounds strange, but I have found the same thing. Although I have only been using CPAP for 3 months I believe I almost look forward to putting on the mask...

Re: Getting set up with my CPAP machine
Enchanter..... do you not have a friend or acquaintance who uses CPAP who would come and take a look at the way you are attempting to use this machine? I suspect even a relatively new user could help you with some of your problems. I am pretty sure most DMEs would help you as they see you as a poten...

If you find something better than a ResMed Autosense 10, let us know. For a guy with an AHI =64, I was in bad shape. I was anxious as I found the first sleepy study to be very uncomfortable. When they placed the mask on me at the titration, I almost immediately went to sleep and did not wake until t...

Re: Newbie with questions.
I know what you are talking about. Mine ramps from 4-18 over 20 min. It has taken me about a month now, but pretty sure I am getting used to it. I suspect it might be easier for me if it ramped from 8-18. So I suppose it just takes time.

Sleepyhead compatibility Question
I am a 1 month user with an AHI of 64 and I find that my CPAP has lifted me out of zombie land. I believe it may be possible to further tune my settings and so I am interested in Sleepyhead software. My machine says Resmed Autosense 10. I was told by my equipment provider that I need to bring my SD ...
