Re: Success with ResMed AirSense10 Auto
Thank you. I am pleased with the machine. I had the PR set at a humidity level of 3, with is the middle of it's range of 0-5. If I am reading the manual correctly, the Auto setting on the ResMed model corresponds to 4, the middle of it's range of 0-8. As you say, those ranges may be very different.

Success with ResMed AirSense10 Auto
I have recently switched to a ResMed AirSense10 Auto from a PR System One 60 auto. The PR was over 6 years old and starting to drop data and make some odd noises, so I figured it was time. (My very first cpap was a ResMed S8 auto, followed by two PR System Ones... a series 50 and a series 60). With ...

Re: 2 nights without electricity (so far)
200w unit with a humidifier.... less than one night. I have a 500w unit and get about 13 hours with humidifier and heated hose. Without those, I think I would get at least two nights, possibly a bit more. Another variable to consider is what pressure. Higher pressures use more power. It won't be a d...

I hate the smell of burning metal in the morning......chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:44 pmI usually smell something "off" slightly before the tank goes dry.
It tends to wake me up--most unpleasantly.

Firefighters---real-life SUPERHEROES. I salute you. Amen!!! Nobody in Sonoma County would dispute that. I think no one in California would dispute this. I'd include the pilots of the guide aircraft, water, and retardant bombers and helos as well. Stay safe, Jan, and any other cpapers in harms way t...

Re: Has anybody ever used the AC power on a aircraft to run a CPAP?
I personally have not used my apap on a plane, but I have a very good friend who flies monthly for business (domestic and overseas). The overseas flights are all over-nighters, and he has used his ResMed AirSense 10 Auto successfully on these flights. I believe he turns off the heated hose and humid...

PG&E has had Californians by the short hairs for way too long --thanks to their long-standing MONOPOLY. There are laws . . . PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E have all cut back on maintenance of their equipment and infrastructure over the past 10-15 years, in large part to maximize profit for their investors (a...

Re: Hose cover with heated hose
Thanks, both! (And I am glad I'm not blind yet!) It's the ClimateLine ResMed hose, not a stand-alone, so it look like it's OK to use the cover..
Cheers!

Hose cover with heated hose
So the question is..... I have a new apap with heated hose. In the past, I have only had regular hoses and have always used a fleece fabric hose cover to help prevent rainout. Does a hose cover affect a heated hose in any way? Use or not use? :?: BTW, am I blind or is there not an equipment listing ...

Back up machine available for cost of shipping
Respironics System One Series 50 Auto with A Flex. Comes with original travel case, unused spare hose, manuals, power supply. Well cared for, non-smoking house, blower has 18,522 hours. Purchased new from cpap.com, one owner. This would make a good back up machine. It still works well, but has high ...

Re: OSCAR Suggestions & Bug reporting
Hi, guys!
Is there any progress on the ability to set a date range on the Statistics report in OSCAR? Is there a date for release of the next version (not beta)?
Thanks!
Mark
