I guess I just am still confused because if I am only breathing through my mouth then how could I be getting flow limitations from nasal obstruction?

Bear in mind that nasal congestion can and will show up as increased flow limitations and no amount of pressure changes or increases will treat or take care of nasal congestion. Have to treat the nasal congestion in the traditional way....decongestants, nasal rinses, saline spray, etc.

... a RERA (Respiratory Effort-Related Arousal) was when you have 'subtler limitations in breathing' of 10 seconds or more... but...mine are mostly ... mine is low it didn't really do anything.. apart from causing loads of flow limitations, although they didn't seem to impact AHI etc.

For anyone following this thread: SoftPap and EPR are not the same thing, And on Prisma machines that have SoftPap 3, does nothing for exhale pressure. It's meant for people who feel "airstarved" at lower pressure, and does some kind of inhale support. See https://loewensteinmedical.com/en/sleep-ap...
