... a Rx for these item probably does cut down on dishonesty and fraud. Plus, where would they draw the line? Will Medicare start covering Aspirin, cough syrup or Band-Aids since they are OTC ?

... the humidifier tub. The CPAP can not create water on its own. Excess saliva very well could be going down your throat as you sleep and causing a cough to clear the saliva. Googling 'overactive salivary glands' may help describe the condition and symptoms.

... The lid rises a bit, but nothing leaks. The new tank acts exactly the same. After two nights back on the old tank, I'm still here. I think my cough is improving, but it may just be coincidence.
