P10 nasal pillow irritating only one nostril
Hello all. Recently started using the p10 nasal pillow mask and love it. Sleep amazing with it. Only downfall is my left nostril gets irritated by it and has a red soreness on the inner side of nostril. The right nostril is perfectly fine but only left is bothering me. Is this normal for only one no...

Soreness on bridge of nose
Hey all. I recently tried using the fisher and paykel eson 2 nasal mask because a friend recommended it. I went out and bought one and also got measured at the CPAP store I was at. They said I needed a medium size nasal mask. I guess they measure the width of your nostrils and not the actual size of...

Whistle sound when inhaling
Hey all. I got a brand new F20 mask and everything was fine up until I washed it for first time. I started to hear a whistle sound every time I inhale near the quick release elbow connection to the outside of the mask. I checked to make sure it wasn’t the mask seal making that sound and it’ not. Thi...

Re: Switched to nasal pillows from full face mask
So I am just re posting in this thread because I have switched back to the full face mask just because it was more comfortable. Although, just purchased the N20 mask and really like it. Sleep great with it. Only problem is this morning after I took off the mask, there was a bunch of water the litera...

Switched to nasal pillows from full face mask
Hello all. I recently posted in this forum over a week ago about my journey with the cpap machine. I switched to the P10 nasal pillows from the F20 full face mask and was easy to get used to the nasal pillows , but I would wake up each morning EXHAUSTED! I tried them for 3 days straight. My AHI was ...

Re: Will I know if my mouth opens up at night with a nasal mask
I as well have started out with a full face mask and also had same problem as you. I would sleep on my side and mouth would be wide open and I would drool and this would break the seas with the mask and wake me up with a puddle of drool in the mask. I tried the nasal pillows for a few nights and for...

Re: CPAP user for 6 months
Only problem I’m having is I wake up in morning with one nostril feeling stuffed. My leaks were low so not sure if I was getting air pressure or not in that nostril? Any chance that you are on your side and the stuffed up nostril is the side that happens to be down? If so, google "nasal cycle". I g...

Re: CPAP user for 6 months
Here is my stats from last night. So this is with the nasal pillows. I was never able to get that low of a AHI with a full face mask. It seems like it’s too good to be true that my AHI is that low with nasal pillow especially for second night of wearing them.

Re: CPAP user for 6 months
Also, is it normal to not feel the pressure as much as you would with a full face mask? Felt like nothing was going on because how quiet it was. But every time I would lift it off my face I was assured there was significant pressure
