Re: New to CPAP but feeling much worse instead of better
Remember two things. What works for others probably won’t work for you, at least in my case so you have to do your own thing. Also, never give up. Take a break every now and then to reset, but cpap therapy is 100% worth it. It took me from 2022-2024 to finally dial in my pressures, but I messed with...

Re: Waking up at 2:30-3:00am every single night past 3 weeks
I'm reading the book "why we sleep". Which is truly astonishing the detail and things I've learned and I'm not even halfway. But no, I do not drink alcohol and I do not read in bed. I know the rules :). Falling asleep has changed drastically from before. I used to be so wired going to bed and couldn...

Waking up at 2:30-3:00am every single night past 3 weeks
So as the title says this has been happening to me the past month. I don’t know what changed but it’s super annoying and frustrating because I don’t know why it’s happening or what I can do. It almost seems like my circadian rhythm is way out of whack, but I’ve been going to sleep around 9:00-9:30 f...

Re: looking for tricks to sleeping on my side...please!
Yeah big pillow behind you and small pillow between knees is what helped me stay sleeping on my side. I used to be a purely mouth breather and back sleeper, now I use a nasal mask (with very minimal leaking at night) and I sleep on my side. It’s all practice and repetition. Just like with anything e...

Bleep Dreamport Mask Solution
Hi! SO I just wanted to notify everyone out there who is having mask/pressure issues for any reason. I was a huge fan of Bleep Dreamports a year ago, but I decided to use the P10 because it's easy to put on every night and it controlled my leaks just as well as the Dreamports. The prep time wasn't a...

Re: looking for tricks to sleeping on my side...please!
Putting pillow between my knees has helped comfort tremendously, I think I struggled too until I did that.

SOLD: Lowenstein Prisma 20a with F40 Mask
Hi I need a true bipap, that is the only reason I am selling. Asking $800 shipping USA free. Everything is like new. Comes with many extra filters, new heating tubing, humidifer, etc. 31 total run hours, I used it maybe 4 nights total. The airfit F40 mask set I used maybe 4 hours total. It comes wit...

Re: Bleep Eclipse Machine Mask Setting
I however notice a change in the flow though compared with the P10 and the dreamports. I love the flow of the dreamports it's so relaxing and comfortable. I've been very busy lately though so I wear my P10 more than anything because it just slips on. THe dreamports are by far my favorite though.

Re: Moving from AS 11 to Lowenstein PRISMA 20a
That deal fell through. There was 0 used hours but I asked for the run hours and it was 21000! So I passed on it. I wish someone could trade my prisma 20a for an aircurve . Don’t care which model but I’m out $1600 and it still hurts because it’s a lot of money

Re: Moving from AS 11 to Lowenstein PRISMA 20a
I have a chance to get an aircurve 10 tonight. Do you think my therapy will be more comfortable with it than my airsense 11? I have small airways and I feel the ps support is most important for me.

Re: Moving from AS 11 to Lowenstein PRISMA 20a
Sounds like what I need for sure. The easybreathe mode in S mode how does that compare to using vauto? Does it time your breathing pretty well while asleep?

Re: Moving from AS 11 to Lowenstein PRISMA 20a
I have read about people having trouble with the transition to biPAP from APAP as well. Not sure of their main complaints but I do think it has to do with that timing. I think the majority said to put it on rapid response or whatever it was. I know that some people also ordered the wrong machine. Mo...

Re: Moving from AS 11 to Lowenstein PRISMA 20a
I haven’t tried the FFM setting and I don’t think the lowenstein has it, at least not this model. So the EPR 3 dips effective pressure to the Epap right. The bi level machine lives at one pressure? So if I had inhale at 10 and exhale at 6, it will live at 8? I can take a video of what I’m experienci...

Re: Acupuncture and Moderate Sleep Apnea
Eating healthy, regular massage, no electronics before bed is what helps me. I use cpap though. I don’t think accupuncture is for sleep apnea. It will help you sleep but it can’t cure apnea?

Moving from AS 11 to Lowenstein PRISMA 20a
Hi I have been using Airsense 11 since 2021. I recently researched and purchased the Lowenstein Prisma 20a (for sale in the forum). I spent a lot of money on this machine and don't want to give up on it so easily, but I just don't want to lose any more sleep. I have dialed in my Airsense 11 settings...
