Re: Respironics "C- 4" Error ? ?
I took the card out and inserted a new card. I was able to download the bad card and it showed about two hours worth of data and then it's blank as if it quit running. even though it was still running when I cycled it. The card was one of my original cards from july 2007 so I guess I got my money ou...

Respironics "C- 4" Error ? ?
I woke up to a Beeping Respironics Auto last night, I was Groggy, but I believe the error on the screen was "C - 4" Anyone have any idea what the heck this means? The machine was running and beeping like an alarm clock. I simply turned it off and back-on again and went back to sleep. Anyone else see...

I hear ya Jim, Being the proud owner of two TANK's myself I sure do appreciate its simplicity. I looked at the M-Series Humidifier and seems they are using the same silicone connections they used to use on the old humidifiers! Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. _________________ CPAPopedia ...

NEW M Series Humidifier?
Anyone have the "NEW" style, M-Series heated Humidifier?
Feedback on Cpap.com says it's "Better" ? ? ? IS IT?
I'm considering the Mseries bundle.
Thanks!

What about pressure
I'll bet you would find a correlation between High pressures and Mask discomfort.....
Pressure could also create high leak rates or at least add to the leak rate.
Not poking holes here just want to help.

431
I've used a 431 for over a year, It does leak from time to time because I move allot, but I like it. I'm a side sleeper and the way the mask flexes side to side a little makes side sleeping comfortable. I attribute most of my leaks to my high pressure 19cm prescribed. Tried the 432 for ONE night, no...

Mask
I'm at a pressure of 19cm, I use a 431 with fleece wrapped around the headgear strap held together with adhesive velcro. I could wear the mask without it! Huge difference YES it still leaks when my jaw slides in but, my AHI is below 2.5 most nights so let it leak! Success can be had, ya just have to...

Definitely do the math......
Alpha's right, in my situation (sounds like similar insurance) it was cheaper to order from CPAP.com and pay the whole bill out of pocket than it would be going the DME route. The reason is the DME will inflate the cost of a machine, mask, and humifier (if any) probably double the Cpap.com price.......

I'm at 19cm and I use a FP431 yes with straps so tight they leave marks, if I don't I feel lousy and end up with leak rates in the 150's...... I have added a wrap of fleece fabric around the head gear especially around the neck straps all the way to the mask connections. it sure helps with marks and...
