Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
It's OK, we believe you and you don't have to justify yourself to people who deliberately bait and trash for effect. Sorry I can't help with tech stuff tho', but know that Resmed is better - personal experience apart from anything else. Thank you. I heard back from both the repair center and Respir...

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
Enjoying the attention you are getting here? Actually, I'm finding some of it to be a pain in the ass. Your comment above, is an example. I'm not here for attention... I'm here hoping to find somebody who has solved a similar problem. Your troll comment contributes absolutely nothing to this post. ...

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
Please give it a rest.
Come back and post when you have something useful to contribute.
I have wielded a tech screwdriver for 47 years now.
I really do have a clue.

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
Thanks for the reply! Tell me "why". I'm not trolling you... I like to hear from those with more experience in selection. 15 years ago, I was very careful when I chose my current rig. I don't need Bluetooth, do not own a cell phone. I've spent half a century in the computer business, and have zero n...

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
Not helpful. I've worn this every night for 15 years. The pressure is so high now, I have the manually hold my mask in place. This changed radically about 6 months back, and that is when the dry mouth started. I don't need a manometer to tell me it is pushing far too much pressure, any more than I n...

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
My machine firmware is 2.7 I disassembled the machine, and found it remarkably clean after 15 years of use. All the tubing was supple and flexible. I cleaned out the tubing anyway, and flushed the port flow assembly as well. The only error code was E57 "stuck key" which I cleared. I put it all back ...

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
I sent email to you, and a copy of the service manual I found for my machine. If yours is a higher level, please send a copy to my email. I do appreciate all the assist I've gotten here. Tomorrow, I will strip down my unit and hunt for mechanical problems, i.e. clogged tubes, etc. I figure after 15 ...

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
I am clueless about the various brands.
Replacement is a cash purchase, no insurance.
The service manual shows part numbers for all the components.
Unless they are Unobtanium, my unit can be repaired.

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
Pugsy, thanks for the referral. PM sent. The machine has been reset numerous times with power outages over the years. This bug developed about 6 months back. I have it on a UPS now, but probably too little and too late for that. As noted above, I'm old-school, so I'm always willing to try repairs be...

Re: Stuck on Maximum Pressure
Yes, the machine is 15 years old. Yes, I have been all through all the settings. Yes, I have experimented with CPAP only at minimum pressure, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, Yes, I have the chops and tools to work on this sort of equipment. I cannot find a service manual for this machine (yet). Before...

Stuck on Maximum Pressure
REMstar Auto C-Flex CPAP (2006) I have entered Setup and tested all sorts of configurations to reduce pressure. Nothing changes. CPAP, APAP, CFLEX... all stuck at maximum blower pressure. This is causing me dry mouth from mask leaks and too much pressure. I did fine for 15 years with nasal mask. The...
