Actually the reason my pressure has dropped is because i have lost alot of weight, but if i keep working out or if i stop and put on or lose a few pounds my pressure needs change.. What drives me nuts is that the sleep clinics all keep saying that i need only CPAP. so what sucks is everytime i lose ...

My pressure needs keep changing... HELP

They have me on CPAP, I don't know for sure but I think I need an APAP. Every 4 to 6 months I have a retitration study and my pressure has dropped. started at 15 now i'm at 9... The last prescribed setting. My weight fluctuates slightly, so does the qulity of my sleep... I'm definitely in better sha...

It is possible to get off CPAP - myth or not?

I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea back in july 2005. my weight was pushing 270lbs at 6'1". I originally started at pressure of 15cm2. When i first started i thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head! - Just recently I went in for a retitration test because I was sleeping horrible again!...

sure you don't need a chinstrap?

re did a sleep study last nite and figured out that i definitely need a chinstrap. you are probably opening your mouth in your sleep.. look into a chinstrap if you dont use one. no more dry mouth and better sleep, more REM!!! good luck ps. i love both swift and activa! with a good chinstrap of course

need to reset my machine pressure / sleep study last night

did a sleep study last night went fine but my pressure is set too high my doctor wont see me until dec 17th. i really would like to reset my pressure to the lower recommended pressure. i have a remstar standard cpap. can anyone tell me how to reset the pressure. the respiratoy therapist was nice eno...

hybrid mask? does anyone use it or have luck with it?

has anyone in this forum had luck with this mask? i got the mask last night it was very appealing to me. i fit it to my face(which was vvery frustrating) and layed down with it on. it leaked and was very noisy so i tightened it up to stop the leaks it was too tight by then & still noisy. put back on...
