Re: Please help newbie figuring out which mask type to choose
Just curious, but you never mentioned using the humidifier... or how much, for how long, at what setting, etc. I ask because I think a lot of people use them too much and end up with sinus problems... or have you already considered that? Sorry if I didn't mention, but I do use a humidifier. I use t...

Re: Please help newbie figuring out which mask type to choose
When you speak of masks, please specify the exact model. There are many models of nasal pillows and all other types of masks. My Bad, I failed to include that info! I am using the Philips DreamWear Gel Nasal Pillows Fitpack WTH? That's for asthmatics. It's inhaled by mouth and works primarily in th...

Re: Please help newbie figuring out which mask type to choose
Thanks for your reply/suggestion. I have tried nasal strips, but they didn't really work well for me because I have oily skin. instead of tape and nasal strips and such, may i suggest scuncis?- https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?p=1089718&f=1&t=112758&p=1086133&hilit=+waveforms#p1086296 this is...

Re: Please help newbie figuring out which mask type to choose
Sometimes the nose pillows (the ones that sit inside the nose) have more resistance you are trying to breathe against, trying just a nasal cushion mask may be a good idea. Being a side sleeper isn't the most important issue when choosing a nasal mask, so much as how restless of a sleeper you are. S...

Re: Please help newbie figuring out which mask type to choose
. . . Also, as a side question: Is it normal/ok to mouth tape using a full face mask ? I imagine I'll have to get one of those too, since at some point I will have a sinus infection and I won't be able to use a nasal mask/pillow then. Reality is maybe I won't even be able to use the full face mask....

Please help newbie figuring out which mask type to choose
Hello, First of all, I am sorry for posting this since I am sure the same thing has been posted many many times. I have tried searching for a similar post before writing this, but I am new to the forum and got confused/lost amongst so much information/so many posts my search has returned. Also, my b...

Re: Brand new resmed 10, can't connect to wireless in Canada
your machine doesn't list a provider. it will never connect without a provider listed. see if you can get a dme to list a provider and then see what happens, I bought this from a website/company that is on the other end of the country, do you suggest I go to a local DME and ask them to list it ?

Re: Brand new resmed 10, can't connect to wireless in Canada
Your device is new, made in 2021, so not a concern about you buying older unit. Potential causes: No Telus 4G coverage in your area. In Canada, Telus is the provider for ResMed Connectivity (at least it was for 3G and CDMA). I had always thought that it would connect to other providers though as pe...

Re: Brand new resmed 10, can't connect to wireless in Canada
How do you know? Does the upper right contain bars with a line through it? Is the signal just weak? Could your device be in airplane mode? The bars are all gray, so no signal. In fact I activated and de-activated the airplane mode hoping that would somehow help, but nothing... If you go into the ab...

Yes you’re right, they used cellphone technology.
And yes it does have an SD card, so I guess I will be fine.

Re: Brand new resmed 10, can't connect to wireless in Canada
Thanks for your insight.
Taking in consideration that the machine is working fine, and there’s a massive shortage, I don’t think I will send it back.
If I could buy it elsewhere maybe I would…
Thanks again!

Brand new resmed 10, can't connect to wireless in Canada
Hello! I just received my brand new resmed 10 airsense and I am trying to get adapted to sleeping with air blowing in my face... I know it will come with time :) I can't seem to get any wireless signal, although my house has wireless signal for our cell phones... I suspect my machine was not intende...
