Different insurances have different processes and delays to to verify the procedure will be covered. They deal with hundreds of carriers and plans all the time, their process is designed to accommodate such delays. Yes, I understand people need to get paid, but they have access to my coverages and know my insurance is excellent. I don’t want anybody to get stuck holding the bag, but that doesn’t apply here.
