Re: Do I need to limit flow limitation further?
I don't know for sure that it would be necessary to increase the minimum to compensate for the little bit more exhale. Especially cautious of doing that increase in view of your aerophagia issues. Your number of events are extremely low and I think there is a lot of wiggle room there for a little m...

Re: Do I need to limit flow limitation further?
Are you having any nasal congestion at all? If you are some of your nasal congestion can show up as FL graph activity. When that happens tweaking with the settings is unlikely to help much and people have to deal with nasal congestion the traditional ways we deal with a stuffy nose. Sometimes incre...

Do I need to limit flow limitation further?
Hello all, I have been waking up with my body hot, headache and and slightly raised HR (which I associated with apnea) some days recently, but when I check my graphs I have very low to non-existent AHI. So I started digging around in the archives for information about flow limitation and saw that so...

Re: sleepyhead graph question
Set the ramp to "auto" ramp instead of whatever you have it set to. Auto ramp.....ramp ends either when the machine thinks you are asleep or after 30 minutes whichever comes first. If you are awake you can't have sleep apnea events for the machine to miss recording anyway because you must be asleep...

Re: sleepyhead graph question
What country are you in? We've seen problems downloading OSCAR into Taiwan in the past, and some IP ranges may be blocked because of problems with spam etc originating from them. I'm not aware of any other countries that block access, but it would not surprise me if there were. Please PM me with yo...

Re: sleepyhead graph question
Looking at sleepyhead, I notice it doesn't even record any flow limitation during the ramp. I wonder if the software even recognizes hypopneas and apneas during this time? The software (be it SleepyHead or OSCAR) only reports what the machine records. ResMed machines don't record anything during ra...

Re: sleepyhead graph question
I will try the phone hack as I'm also blocked on my comp but not phone. I will also try to reduce ramp this time. That is very concerning that there is no info during ramps....

Re: sleepyhead graph question
Sleepyhead isn't even used any more, Oscar is... look at the stickies top of the page and download it to post here. Interesting, I tried to download it but for some reason it says access forbidden. Tried on two different computers and two different platforms (chrome/ie). Not sure if it is because I...

Re: sleepyhead graph question
Because we all do that once in a while, or at least a lot of whiles when things are new. If it's just a one-off don't worry about it, if it happens every night and you wake up - is your mask comfortable? Do you know what woke you? You could try taping the mask straps to your face so that when you s...

sleepyhead graph question
Can someone tell me why in this graph the leak rate is suddenly non-existent? Trying to analyze why I would have suddenly pulled of my mask at this time.
TIA!

Re: Aerophagia help please!
Did you have any difficulty adjusting at first to higher epr? I couldn't do it last night, felt like the machine was giving out on every outbreath! That is an indication you need to turn EPR down or off. Many don't use EPR. As you know EPR lowers the pressure on exhale. Your aerophagia is more like...

Re: Aerophagia help please!
 Hi, you will get some good advice from people here but I thought I'd mention, I have been working with this problem, too, since switching to the AirSense machine. It is more responsive than my System One was and it's taking me some time to get used to it. Some things that have helped me so far...
