Re: Really need help from our great team!
Do you specifically need v1.8? Apneaboard have v2.24 available for download. You need to have an account (free) and be logged in to access their software page.

Re: pugsy out for awhile
It actually was very serious and I came within a hair of getting a transfusion. Not good! I had a GI bleed a couple of years ago and ended up getting two blood transfusions and an iron infusion. Plus a gastroscopy and colonoscopy. It took a while to get over it, so take it easy and don't push yours...

Re: Feeling discouraged: Doctor called my APAP a failure after two nights based on a physical observation.
So did this expert doctor offer any alternative treatment? Let me guess - surgery that will cost thousands? Your SleepHQ chart looks pretty normal, especially for only your second night. I notice that each of the O2 drops corresponds with a movement, suggesting that the ring momentarily lost contact...

G'day John
It's not sold by that name in Australia, but one of the Lumis models would be closest. Have a look at this page (scroll down to Bilevel): https://www.resmed.com.au/healthcare-pr ... ts/devices

Re: Which retailer in Toronto lacks, or has the least, Service Fee?
Quite apart from the service fees, both quotes seem to include items you wouldn't normally need, but are probably high margin items designed to inflate the vendor's profit. Eg in the first quote the allow for a machine including heated hose, plus $70 for a heated hose (presumably a spare). Likewise ...

Re: Air blown in eyes
While not discounting what your doctor said, it is quite common for air to blow up the side of your nose into your eyes (externally). Some masks are worse than others in this respect - I found the F&P Evora eliminates the problem, though it does introduce some others. For a more conventional mask li...

Re: How to detect mouth breathing/leak
Do leaks from the mouth appear on Oscar? no. leaks are leaks as far as oscar knows. Yes! Leaks are leaks as far as Oscar is concerned. The correct question is "Does Oscar discriminate between mouth leaks and other leaks?" to which the answer is No. Oscar will show all leaks recorded by the machine,...

Re: Lost graphs on Oscar
It's possible that the missing graphs have just been turned of due to a glitch. Down on the bottom right corner of the daily page is a drop-down menu labelled "x of 14 Graphs" where x is the number of graphs turned on. Click on that, then make sure all the graphs you want have green tick marks.

Re: Differences
Thank you. I was told they were practically the same machine; apparently they’re not. Physically they're much the same, but the operating system/firmware is quite different. AirSense machines are designed for "simple" obstructive apnea (providing low to medium pressure), while AirCurves are designe...

Re: Sleeplay doesn't honor warranty
I have a ResMed AirCurve 10 and have been using it for a couple of years now. The water reservoir for the AirSense 10 and for the AirCurve 10 are exactly the same. It's impossible for your tank to rust as there are ZERO parts made using ferrous (iron) materials. No iron no rust. The metal used in t...

Re: need help new to ASV therapy
Reducing pressure was probably the wrong thing to do. Resmed recommend that the max pressure support should be not less than 15 to guarantee full treatment of central apneas. If that is achieved then all residual events will be obstructive - which require a higher EPAP. You're having problems with t...

There is a huge amount of variables in CPAP treatment, and we need to see the data to understand exactly what's going on. Use Oscar or SleepHQ - ...
