My AHI was 43.6 with oxygen dropping BETWEEN 63% to NAXIMUM only 80%. As per sleep study. I was more frightened by the oxygen sats than the apneas. Although 43.6 is classed as severe, ive heard some people much higher. But mine last up to 45 seconds, so at over 43 per hour, not much breathing happen...
