Re: Nasal Irrigation
I've used my Neti pot daily for years. I use Ancient Secrets Nasal Cleaning Salts and the little spoon that came with the pot - nothing fancy or prepackaged. If my allergies are really bad, or if I have a rare cold, I'll use it 2-3 times a day. I think it works great.

Re: Any way to make a heavy climate-control hose less awkward?
You might get some CPAP tube clips (check Amazon) that secure the hose to the top corner of your mattress (sheet). That will hold it so you can thread it under your pillow and have it move less. I did that before rigging it to drape over my headboard.

I wear an N30, a P10 or Dreamwear cushion. Hose management helps me.

Re: Mask and headgear for small head
I have a fairly small head and use the ResMed Airfit N30. The straps are very adjustable and the nasal cushion is very soft. Although I wear the small cushion with the Dreamwear (and small frame with padding on the top and sides) the medium N30 cushion fits! I guess they run small. I also tried the ...

Re: Cpap altitude adjustment
I also live at low altitude but was in Colorado at 9,000 ft. for a few days. My machine seemed to make all the adjustments needed and my AHIs were pretty normal. I did have trouble breathing in general (also asthmatic) but sleep was great. Go figure.

Re: CPAP Friendly Hotels
I mostly travel by car and carry a long extension cord. Last week's (business) stay was in a Best Western Inn and Suites. I was in a suite and had to run my extension cord to the other side of the room to use my CPAP. Yes, there were outlets in the lamps, but the plugs were so loose I was afraid of ...

I’m so glad your wife is NED and doing well. My husband is a stage 4 rectal cancer survivor, NED for 10 years now. She is lucky to have you there for her. Blessings to you both.

Have you tried Texas Home Medical? 214-824-3688 ask for Collin. He's the manager.
I don't know if they have any 11's but they've been very good to me.

Re: Did you get your flu vaccine?
We got our flu shots yesterday. No COVID booster for me. I’m in an antibody study and have lots of antibodies from the vaccine and the virus. Plus I had an allergic reaction to the 2nd dose.

Re: new mask
Are you trying different masks to find "the one?" I went through probably 8 masks in the beginning but have settled on the Dreamwear cushions. Nothing on or in my nose. Just a little cushion under it. Honestly, the Dreamwear has made my CPAP life pretty wonderful. Best wishes to you.

Re: How often do you clean your hose?
I am a little germaphobic OCD so I do clean my cushion and empty and dry my water chamber daily, and wash the hose weekly.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 5:58 pmHardly ever washing is quite common--we are NOT pigs--we just don't want to be OCD.

I change mine every 2 weeks. I have asthma, am allergic to dust and feel the need to keep things scrupulously clean.
