Re: Does the Dream Station know when I'm asleep?
My comment was not regarding sleep studies. The apple watch data is fairly accurate and routinely used for clinical research purposes. It's certainly better than the sleep/wake data collected by my CPAP machine, which is zero. So lame. Apple Watch, fitbit etc is pretty accurate in recording sleep/wa...

Re: Does the Dream Station know when I'm asleep?
So lame. Apple Watch, fitbit etc is pretty accurate in recording sleep/wake - seems like it would not be hard to develop a cpap machine with a simple wristband component.

Does the Dream Station know when I'm asleep?
I have a Dream Station 2 which is currently not compatible with OSCAR so I only have the information from the machine. The DreamStation gives me an AHI in the morning but I don't think it can tell if I'm asleep or awake. it seems like the AHI is calculated based on the amount of time I wear the mask...

DreamStation 2 - OSCAR
Someone said in the comments to another thread that the DS2 is not compatible with OSCAR. This seems to be true from my experience. My husband has a lot of experience with data transfer and he could not get the data to upload. Has anyone else been able to upload data from the dreamstation 2 to OSCAR...

Re: Respironics doesn't care about your health evidently
I second the issue with DS2 not being compatable with OSCAR. I have not been able to upload my data from DS2. It's a bummer.

Mask irritation - sharing a solution
I wear a DreamWear full face mask and had severe itchiness where the mask makes contact with my skin. I tried the nasal mask but I found it harder to tolerate than the full face mask. I've tried different ways to make a barrier between the full face mask and my skin without losing the seal. Recently...

Re: Using CPAP while taking naps wake up in fear
I've something similar my whole life. I used to think my blood sugar was dropping when I napped. I'm not diabetic, so there's no reason why this should happen but I bought a glucometer to test my blood glucose on awakening. It was always normal so that's not the cause. Sleep affects your cortisol le...
