Re: Sleeping Inclined And AHI Numbers

I do for my GERD. It got me off my proton pumps pills and did me for me than any medication I ever took. I use a Medslant wedge. It is long enough (to my hips) that it doesn't cause me to bend in the middle. I tried blocks under my bed previously but they had a bad habit of shifting during the night...

Re: suggestions for newer full face mask, no phillips

To update, I tried the ResMed F20 Air Touch was a disaster for me. I had the worst leaks I've ever had & they were so prolonged (30 seconds or longer) that my machine went to autoshut off. This happened 6 times last night according to Oscar. This is worse than my current mask and I felt terrible thi...

Re: Have you had a COVID-19 Vaccine or have an appt?

I'm in Toronto, Canada. I got my first shot in early March (Pfzier) because I'm a family caregiver in my mom's long term care home (they nominated me). The home had a bad Covid outbreak in Dec/Jan, my mom was lucky, she remained asymptomatic but they lost 25 people. She was fully vaccinated in Febru...

Re: HELP - Canadian dealers recommendations

Hi - lived there x 20 yrs (and worked at Sick Kids), so try https://cpapmachinescanada.com/product-category/sleep-therapy/cpap-masks/ I decided to order a Resmed f20 AirTouch from this compamy. Although it's expensive (other Canadian vendors were cheaper) they offer a 30 day exchange program for ma...

Re: HELP - Canadian dealers recommendations

How about re-shippers? Yes, I've considered that, I know some Canadians do use them. Are you Canadian? Do you have any you can recommend? Pre pandemic, there were services that would let you set up a US address & you could retrieve your packages. However, our border's been closed for all but essent...

Re: HELP - Canadian dealers recommendations

Well, dealers here sell everything, but you pay a higher price, whether currency exchange or mark-up. But I am only aware of Resmed being a problem, not Phillips... are you sure about that? About where are you - there are DME's I can steer you towards. According to cpap.com, they aren't allowed to ...

HELP - Canadian dealers recommendations

Hi, I'm looking for recommendations for Canadian dealer recommendations. edited to update: a poster here suggested https://cpapmachinescanada.ca/ Although they are more expensive than some of the other vendors in Canada, they have a 30 day exchange program for masks if it turns out to be the wrong s...

Re: suggestions for newer full face mask, no phillips

Thank you both. I was leaning towards the ResMed F20 and F30, probably the Touch for the ResMed F20 since my current mask uses foam and I've always find it more comfortable than silicon even though it has to be replaced more often.

Re: Travel CPAP machine

I'm also in Canada. I've just ordered the Z2 Auto Travel machine the other day as I want a smaller machine for both travel and home and it looks to be just what I'm looking for. It gets quite good reviews. The only issue with it is that some people don't like that it doesn't have a water tank (it us...

Re: suggestions for newer full face mask, no phillips

Thank you both for the suggestion of cpap.com. I checked out their reviews before posting here. (I order my equipment from them so I'm familiar with them.) Yes, they certainly have many reviews and it can be a bit overwhelming sorting through all of them. I asked this question because I'm interested...

Re: suggestions for newer full face mask, no phillips

Suggestions would be appreciated. Go to cpap.com, find the FFMs and sort by Top Sellers - https://www.cpap.com/plp/full-face-cpap-mask/ZT0yNjU There, you will find photos, specifications, user ratings and many user reviews. I like the newer, smaller footprint, lower weight styles like: - Dreamwear ...

suggestions for newer full face mask, no phillips

Hi all, edited to add: Thank you all for the suggestions. I really appreciate it. After doing research at cpap.com, I decided to look at masks that are rated highly for restless sleepers. I decided to start with the Res f20 Air Touch. Unfortunately Resmed like Phillips doesn't currently allow cpap.c...
