Re: How do I delete my account
If the OP is a truck driver he's supposed to use his cpap every day even when on holiday, some companies monitor them 24/7. A friend of mine had four days off and was told not to come to work because he hadn't used his cpap while off.

Re: Finally leaks fixed.
Thanks to all for your help and encouragement. I'll probably just get a new card and download OSCAR. Or try to.

Re: Finally leaks fixed.
Hmmm... 15 is very high for a low pressure, especially if you want to avoid e.g. aerophagia, never mind centrals... You really, really need to do Oscar and we'll help with any issues - just please stick to this thread. Thanks, I'm not computer savvy so will have to study up on OSCAR but how's this ...

Re: Finally leaks fixed.
Hi again, just a little update. Have not installed OSCAR yet but did go back into clinical settings again and found the high pressure was 20 and low was set at 2. I did wake up a couple of times thinking my machine had stopped and was unusually tired in the afternoon so am attributing this to the lo...

Re: Finally leaks fixed.
Yes, OSCAR will give more details as to what the settings are and what the pressure is actually doing along with what it did in the past. You will need a SD card in the computer though to get the details and some sort of SD card reader on your computer. You can see some examples of what you can see...

Re: Finally leaks fixed.
Without knowing what your other settings might have been it's pretty much impossible to know why just changing to auto mode has resolved your leak issue. It doesn't make logical sense though unless you were using a much higher pressure in the other mode and never got a good seal and with auto mode ...

Re: Finally leaks fixed.
It would be good for you to load up oscar, and see what the change you made actually did, and why things are better. To tell the truth I'm not very computer literate, I have 'My air' and that's enough statistics for me right now but will see about oscar. The only change I made was turning on the au...

Finally leaks fixed.
Well this may give you a chuckle, for years I've had mask leaks but I sleep well and they don't bother me. I replaced my Airsense 10 autoset earlier this year and it was set up when I received it so just plugged it in and business as usual. Usual being a mask leak sad/angry red face looking at me fr...

Re: Does Medicare Require Annual CPAP Dr. Visit?
Medicare has required a doctor to state that you regularly use cpap, and benefit from it. This used to be F2F (face to face), but my last two "visits" with the sleep doc have been video over the phone. Medicare covers this call, which probably pays like an office visit. No surprise that pneumonolog...

Re: To unplug or not.
Welcome to the zoo... Not sure why you want to unplug? Is it money? Me thinks if you put a kilowatt meter on it you will see the draw is not that much. But as Palerider says - you could use a power strip. IF there is a pending electrical storm I would unplug from commercial power. Since I plug into...

To unplug or not.
Hi, I have been using a c-pap for about 17 years and don't have any problems using it, in fact I feel rather guilty as I took to it like a duck to water. I do worry about little things though and have searched the forum and read the booklet that came with my new Resmed 10 I got yesterday but couldn'...
