Re: OT: Spinal cord stimulator experiences anyone?
It’s because the leads used in the trial are much closer to the skin surface, as opposed to the long term leads being implanted way deeper and closer to the spine….

Re: OT: Spinal cord stimulator experiences anyone?
Hi Pugsy, I haven’t been on here for about 5 months or so, but when I was, you gave me such great guidance on my APAP usage, I’d like to try and give back a little… As you recall, I am a back pain sufferer as well as my wife. My wife had the Medtronic stimulator implanted about 9 years back. In a nu...

Re: Newbie to Board, Same Old Problems...
So by way of update, I’ve spent the last 7 or 8 days bouncing around with some 6’s, some 4’s, may one 11, etc., but feeling way better than I have in a good long while.... So last night I decided to edge up my minimum to 13.5, from 13. Result was an awesome 3.1, with over six and a half hours sleep....

Re: Yet Another Newbie Question..
Ok, so I think I have indirectly received the answer to my original question. Thank you all for that... For the life of me, I could not figure out why the subject of guaranteed return insurance came up twice in replies. And then, suddenly, I woke up! No pun intended. I am not using insurance to purc...

Yet Another Newbie Question..
Good Morning! So another different type of question, and please let me know if this is frowned upon..... So knowing this site is associated with Cpap.com, and having now learned that said site sells all sorts of CPAP equipment....... Is mentioning other websites that may carry equipment for sale, th...

Re: Desperate for a solution!
I use the Phillips Nuance Pro and love it. Have used it from the start, tried others, and come back every time. It ships with three different size nasal pillows.
I use mine at 13 and 20, but have been as high as 18 and 20, with no blowout issues.....
Good Luck,
Mike

Okie, Take good care of that laminectomy. After suffering with back issues for years, I had that same procedure. It returned me to my old self in a matter of weeks. Then, a couple years later, I was at a stop sign when rear ended by an underage, uninsured idiot....... In the months following, everyt...

Re: Newbie to Board, Same Old Problems...
Good Day All,
So I had a repeat last night with a 4.6! Fewer hours slept at 4, probably because I wasn’t as tired as usual, having had a couple good nights!!
Again, thanks to Pugsy and all that have, and continue to contribute to me feeling closer to human again!! So appreciated!

Pugsy,
Being fairly new to the board, I have no clue to your background, and obvious understanding of the problem, as well as the cure....
Regardless, just nice that in a very bizarre time in our world, there are still people that want to help others......and I for one appreciate it!!
Regards,
Mike

Re: Newbie to Board, Same Old Problems...
Thank you for that.... The last two nights have been the best I have slept in some time. No memory of dreaming or nightmares, and no middle of night bathroom trip. Felt good yesterday, and so far ditto today. No afternoon nap, and most notable, not draggin ass after dinner! Appreciate the help so mu...

Re: Newbie to Board, Same Old Problems...
Yes, that is correct. I had actually increased the minimum from 11 to 12 two or three nights ago on advice, and then last night I went up to 13.
The only other possible difference, is that I MAY have slept with the recliner a hair more upright last night, but nothing really noteworthy....
