Re: Squeaky elbow
Sorry the part of the elbow that goes into the mask frame may be the cause of the squeak I mean.

Squeaky elbow
I started trying out the dreamwear nasal mask and the elbow is making a loud chirping noise when I move around. Would putting some vaseline in the area where the elbow connects to the quick release help, or any other suggestions?

Re: Using a fan in the warmer months
Yes I have A/C, but that sometimes makes me even more congested than the desktop fan while sleeping.

Using a fan in the warmer months
Does anyone have a fan next to their bed in the summertime, and have any tips on trying to reduce waking up with a sore throat and stuffy nose? I have the cpap humidifier turned off currently and am using non heated tubing.

Settings for type of mask
For the settings on my cpap machine, I was told that I could select pillows for the airfit N30i nasal mask since they are similar to pillows. What effect does selecting the mask type on the cpap machine have in general?

Re: New sleep study
It's been several years since I had an overnight sleep study and mslt done and I'm going to be having it done again because of daytime sleepiness. CPAP prescription questions
It's been around ten years since I got my last cpap machine. The prescription back then didn't say how long that it's good for, so would I likely need a new prescription if I want to get a new cpap machine through my insurance? I still have a copy of the prescription and I didn't see an expiration d...

Using resmed S9 without the humidifier
Is there a way in the settings to turn off the humidifier myself? I don't want to use any water. I had detached the humidifier from the rest of the S9 unit, but the climate line tubing hose won't stay in tightly when I connect it into the other part of the unit. I'd also like to turn off the heat fr...
