Re: s9 Humidifier - pins broken -anyone fix it?
For less then 100$ you can get a refurbished humidfier somewhere on the internet. :D True, I can get the pin for $1.32 from a canadian electrical supply place and save a bunch of plastic from going into the landfill.... It took me 15 mins to dissassemble the humidifier without instructions the 1st ...

5 yrs in, I just wash the mask that touches my face with a touch of handsoap while I brush my teeth at bedtime.
I was the hose every 6 months or so...
I wash the headband once every 5 yrs, though I plan to do it more often.

Re: s9 Humidifier - pins broken -anyone fix it?
Can you describe how you opened the H5i to access the pins? Sure, The bottom has a silver coloured plastic piece, It is held on by 4 clips. one clip at each of the 2 back corners. 2 near the front. I'll try to post a pic and point to them... Release each of these clips and the bottom should wiggle ...

Re: machine life vs pressure
I just got an upgrade yesterday, Resmed S9 Escape . . . Not an upgrade IMO. Hope you or your insurance did not pay full new price--for a ten+ year old brick. Those machines, even low hour, are worth about a Ben Franklin, not much more. OK for emergency or travel--Autoset can be tightened up or even...

machine life vs pressure
I am under the assumption that a machine's lifespan is tied to the pressure it is run at....The higher the pressure, the harder the blower has to work. I usually run at 9cmH20, and my machines are both still alive. My Airsense 10 is at around 3300hrs, My refurbed s9 I got around 4000hrs and now it h...

Re: s9 Humidifier - pins broken -anyone fix it?
I removed the pin from the orange plastic, I couldn't fix the spring, but I crimped the body of the pogo pin a little bit and it sticks out now a bit... Ran last night without any hitches... Does the Thermometer icon stay on the main menu when you have a climateline hose attached? I am looking at ge...

s9 Humidifier - pins broken -anyone fix it?
I have a refurb'd resmed s9 autoset from my cpap supplier. I bought it about 3 years ago as a machine to use at our cottage in the summers. It was set to 9cmH20, but just have been fiddling with Sleepyhead software and running it in APAP mode. I got the heated tube error, and bought a new heated tub...
