Re: ResMed10 Hose Stuck to Machine - SOLVED

1. Problem solved by cutting through the rubber plug to release the hose.
2. Also, the grey ring that rotates is only used for connecting heated hoses. Mine is unheated which why I couldn't figure out what the ring was for.

Thank you all for the replies.

Re: (New user) Better to get 3 hours of APAP sleep & wake up or take off mask & go back to bed?

I went thru that my first month on CPAP. I found if I didn't change the mask monthly, the foam lining softened a bit and I had to keep tightening the strap more and more which was uncomfortable. Also, if I went back to bed without the mask my wife would push on my shoulder because I started snoring.

Re: ResMed10 Hose Stuck to Machine

Thanks for the reply. I've been squeezing the two raised buttons on the hose since the beginning but it's really stuck. Wonder if anyone has removed the housing to access the hose's tube? May have to cut it out off.

Thanks again everyone!

Re: ResMed10 Hose Stuck to Machine

Thanks for the reply but I'm not sure what you meant by "... white out..." Are you referring to the flat gray ring that twists180 degrees on the machine or the raised arrows on the end of the hose. I squeezed on opposite sides of the hose and pulled but it wouldn't disconnect from the machine. I'm n...

Re: Have you had a COVID-19 Vaccine or have an appt?

My age/weight/bmi/copd puts me as high risk but I've never heard back from the registration sites in Kansas City, MO.
Guess I'll have to die?

ResMed10 Hose Stuck to Machine

I've had this machine for 3 years and have few complaints. The same hose has been stuck on the machine for at least 3 months and it needs changing. Pull and twist with all my might and it won't budge. Do you have some tips to pulling off the hose? Also, around the inlet port the hose inserts into, t...
