Re: Constant Arousals - ASV Troubleshooting

you can manipulate the pressure support settings. You can set a fixed PS if you wish by setting the minimum and maximum PS to the same number.
Unfortunately with the ResMed ASV the min PS and max PS cannot be the same.

Max PS must at least be 5 cm higher than min PS.

Re: Certified home sleep test kit that doesn't have nasal canola?

There is some evidence that the effects of CPAP therapy lingers for up to two weeks after cessation.

So a washout period is suggested for more accurate result if retesting.

Re: Certified home sleep test kit that doesn't have nasal canola?

The problem is that I am seeking to use an alternative treatment - just using the neck brace and maybe the wedge pillow. Hmmm you're on a CPAP forum. In any event, not sure how many sets of adhesives the test kit contains. However, the subscription kit ($75/mo) comes with 7 sets of adhesives. This ...

respiratory effort airflow https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S2352721822001887 Surrogate measurements with good enough correlation. But how would they estimate SPO2 & pressure? (Or maybe they measure SPO2 the same dubious way pulse oximeters do?) Come with a Checkme pulse oximet...

Re: Certified home sleep test kit that doesn't have nasal canola?

https://mva.maryland.gov/Documents/driver-fitness-medical-guidelines.pdf Maryland's guidelines are incredibly lax. If your AHI from your initial diagnosis is below 20 , you're golden. If it was over 20 then you only need a treated AHI of 19 or less to comply  It feels like your doc is doing a...

https://wesper.co/ has a FDA cleared test.

It measures Respiratory Effort, SPO2, Airflow, Heart Rate, Pressure, Body Position.

It's $180 at https://cpapsupplies.com/home-sleep-test

Ask your doctor whether it's acceptable.

If the warning message doesn't annoy you then Yup, not hard to replace at all. https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t96624/Resmed-S9-Elite-Teardown-with-pictures.html Otherwise if you have a backup machine, consider sending your ASV to https://acbio.com/ It is often recommended as a service provider. ...

When I test the mask or adjust the pressure higher though he doesn't like his cheeks inflating. (He notices it at a pressure of 7 or above.) Regarding the chipmunk cheeks, I read about someone overcoming the situation by inserting some gauze between the straps and the cheeks. https://www.reddit.com...

FlashAir can be configured as follows via a browser once you insert it into the PrismaSmart. https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=183069&p=1395952&#p1395952 You will need to figure out how to mount it on the Mac. Re: Can I set an AirCurve 10 ASV like my AirSense 10 Autoset

Okay, I'm trying ASVAuto but Max EPAP only goes to 15 not 16. I set Min a PS to 3 and Max PS defaulted to 8 FYI the max pressure can be up to 23 (Max EPAP 15 + Max PS 8 ) "Max PS defaulted to 8" doesn't mean you can't give it a higher number. My bad, I meant for his specific setting the Max Pressur...

Re: Anyone here have experience with AIRBREAK?

You might want to take a closer look at the ASV again. I couldn't use the ASV because it didn't let me adjust settings like increasing the pressure difference between epap and ipap higher than 6. From the clinical manual for the equivalent autralian ASV model In ASV or ASVAuto mode, PSmin can be 0–6...

You can try to work backward and subtract min or max PS from your Max Pressure. min E...
