Re: 10 days in the CPAP game

Actually, I'm here cause it seemed to me that it's a place to talk about CPAP and sleep apnea, not only CPAP settings. You might want to read the thread below regarding as to why this forum exists http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=178616&p=1343495 There a few OT topics. But almost all are...

There is also the expensive MedCline ($250) with "Patented Arm Pocket" which is actually 3 pieces.

Re: How reliable and trustworthy is data from a CPAP machine?

My sleep is by far better sleeping on my side (much fewer CA's), but side sleeping causes body aches and pains for me. That's why I'd like to be able to sleep on my back. That said, if back sleeping causes greater sleep problems, then I need to just suck it up and sleep on my side. I hope not thoug...

Please follow Pugsy's often repeated instructions on the chart. You just need to order the graphs optimally so one screen shot gets what is needed. Graphs can be resized. http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t158560/How-to-post-images-for-review.html it's not in clinical mode. Going into the clinical m...

Re: SoClean2

My Dad just bought me recently the SoClean2 Cpap cleaning system. I haven't used it or set it up yet but it connects to the cpap and uses ozone to sanitise your mask and hose. Im not sure how good they are but they are avertised often. None of what is being said scares me. I am using my SoClean2 an...

Re: SoClean and Other Ozone Cleaners - FDA Warning

I Still don't see what the big deal is I am using my machine and the cleaner no matter what. I still use the other method as well. I think that the company that makes these products would be out of business if some of the this stuff was actually proven and you can't ways believe in what you read. S...

Re: ResMed AirSense 11 - A sneak peak

Naturally, they are sitting on it. They probably caught hell from DMEs who could not move S9s because all the silly patients demanded Airsense 10s. Gotta empty those warehouses! As an one-time computer salesman, I can sympathize to a point. Our sales dived off a cliff whenever new product lines wer...

Re: Suspecting long term Nasal Pillow use alters nose shape?

The appearance of noses changes as part of natural aging. Cosmetic surgeons earn boatloads of loot from those changes.

Blaming CPAP masks for those changes does not make it so.

Gideon, OSCAR project manager, has asked. No reply yet.
Not surprised at the non response.
The person who leaked was likely warned off.

Manufacturers don't like seeing embargos broken.
It may or may steals thunder from their marketing plans, depending on how savvy the social media team is.

You also need to consider comfort when wearing these things. During my PSG test, the lab put both type on me. They put the clip-on type similar to that shown in the pix referenced by Norma45 and wrapped with medical tape. They wanted a unit with display so that that they could spot check SpO2 if nec...

Thank you for posting this.
+1

Maybe add some edge finishing to stop fraying if you do launder them as palerider suggests

"Kidding aside, if you want to seriously try the NozeSeal system (or the DIY  version), the best bet is buying a P10 frame for $28 off Amazon. If you clip off the strap guides above the catches, the frame will likely still work with the P10/N30 strap." That's just what I did! Worked great, bu...
