Re: Just started cpap.. can't stand it. Any advice?
I got Resmed Airsense 10 4 days ago. And I can't use it more than an hour because I feel like I will suffocate. I got the nasal mask. Should I change it to full mask? I don't know what to do. After using it for an hour, I feel that I must take it off or I will die. Any advice? :((( Wear it around t...

Re: Pulse Oximeter Recommendations
Website: https://www.sleepdeeper.net/best-pulse-oximeter-for-sleep-apnea/ I'm looking to purchase a pulse oximeter that I can measure my oxygen level while sleeping. I found this the article. However, I'm looking to you all who may be using one, and get your recommendation. Thanks in advance. Starl...

Re: Wellue O2Ring Overnight Results
At long . . . LONG . . . last, my doctor called with the home sleep study results. Mild/moderate apnea with an AHI of 14. I'm being referred for CPAP but it has to be approved by Blue Shield of California. No idea what happens next. I assume you go somewhere to pick out equipment, and they say, "Yes...

Re: Wellue O2Ring Overnight Results
No results yet, unfortunately.
But I've continued to wear the O2 ring with interesting results. For instance, check out what happens here when I switch positions:

Need a camera to figure out which position that was.

Re: Wellue O2Ring Overnight Results
Yes, it was the light for the pulse oximeter on the Resmed. They sent me home with a different unit and I repeated the test last night. All green lights this time, including the morning after "Test Complete" light. Dr's office said it would take them a week or so to analyze the results. Fingers cros...

Re: Wellue O2Ring Overnight Results
Well, I was never able to get the finger sensor light to stop blinking red and turn green. Not sure if there was a problem with the device . . . or my finger :) I'm supposed to return the Resmed today so they can check to see if they got enough data, but I'm very tempted to grab a copy of the data m...

Re: Wellue O2Ring Overnight Results
Good news. I was able to vulture a cancelled appointment and brought home a Resmed ApneaLink Air for a home sleep test this evening.
Seems pretty straight forward, but if anyone has any tips, holler.

Re: Frustrated. Considering Lofta sleep study
Keep us updated, Laura. I've also been told I'll have to wait 8 weeks to get a sleep study and am considering paying out of pocket to get one sooner.
If this works out for you, I may follow your path.

Re: Wellue O2Ring Overnight Results
I would definitely show your doctor the results you had. The number of O2 drops in the course of the night you're having would seem to lend good argument to being apnea related. Appreciate the post, Grumpy. Yeah, my SpO2 looks a lot like yours. The good news is that I bounced my charts of my doctor...

Re: Wellue O2Ring Overnight Results
Those of you viewing this thread (thank you, thank you!), what's your informed take? Are these charts mildly suggestive of OSA? Should I be taking them to my doctor and requesting another sleep study? I'll post one final chart from last night, then I'll let you good people be. Awoke around 4:00 AM w...

Wellue O2Ring Overnight Results
Hi, friends. Was wondering if I could get your eyes on some overnight numbers. A touch of background: I’ve had sleep issues for 15+ years. At one point, after a series of cardiovascular tests (echocardiogram, nuclear stress test, exercise stress test) to rule out heart issues, I was diagnosed with n...
