Re: new to everything

Well it turns out I have a faulty machine. So no amount of masks or checking OSCAR data/fixing settings would have fixed it. Just glad to know it wasn't me messing up stuff. The centrals were being created because my machine has been jumping to max pressures and staying there for hours so I basicall...

Re: should I have purchased a bipap?

With an AHI that low, it does not look anything like CA. Try reducing the EPR from 3 to 2 for a couple nights to see if the CAs reduce a bit. Also...I you have ramp turned on, turn it off. (You do not need the AirCurve). Alright. I'm just confused as why I'm not sleeping fully through the night and...

should I have purchased a bipap?

original test showed AHI- 8 RDI- 84, I know centrals aren't necessarily picked up accurately on watchpat I bought an airsense 10 instead of an aircurve but wondering if I should have purchased a bipap? My OSCAR shows continuous clusters of centrals and I am waking up breathless still on my CPAP. My ...

Re: new to everything

mask leakage is awful and creating the centrals. It's like the silicone wore down in a matter of a few nights. I'm sending the masks I got back and ordered a new one. Hoping it's the last time I'll have to do this.

Re: new to everything

There ya go https://ibb.co/bNhf795 How can you tell the difference between centrals and OSA? or was the one clear airway a central? look at your graph. the Event Flags shows CA. CA=centrals. you had more than one. also, look at your pressure graph. your pressure starts at 4.8 but almost immediately...

Re: new to everything

So third night with CPAP was odd. I finally fell asleep and then had a crazy dream but I woke up and could tell I wasn't breathing well. I look over at the CPAP and see the pressure is up to 13 so I know I'm having an apnea episode since my pressure usually stays on 7 while I'm sleeping normally. M...

Re: new to everything

Look in the slot on the left side of your machine to see if a card is already in there. If not, just any SD card that will fit in there; cheap is fine. You'll also need a way to read the card. If your computer doesn't have a card reader built in, you can buy a plug-in reader for around 10 bucks. Yo...

I think I'm going to have to buy an SD card first.
and miss e has the right of it again.

do you happen to have an old digital camera laying about? if so, look to see if there is an sd card there.

meanwhile, we'll wait patiently.

I'm glad you said that because I do

Do I download the oscar software somewhere or is it an app?
software, not app.

the link is at the bottom of miss emerita's post.

let us know when you are ready to post some graphs and we can help.
