I think it gets complicated
It certainly seems to be over your head and a few others commenting here.
Since you imply that it is not over your head, please enlighten all who don't fully understand how the belts and breathing are related.

Re: Sleep study inaccurate

So, could comparing belt movement with a previous breath and finding about the same movement, but no/very little flow through the nasal cannula could indicate either mouth breathing or an apnea? I think it gets complicated in that case, but one might be able to discern which is actually happening, w...

"uses a nasal cannula, a pulse odometer, and two body belts."

Two body belts. What is the function of the two body belts? Hold up the OP's pajama pants? Or detect breathing/attempting to breath in conjunction with the nasal cannula?

Re: F&P "Simplus" Hose Detachment?

I suggest switching to the Vitera also. I have almost a year's use on the connection, usually disconnecting and reconnecting at least once a night. So far it has held up just fine. One thing that might be significant is that I have a hose management system that makes the hose come down from above me...

Re: Forgot to wash mask today

Sometimes I forget to wash my cushion too. That's why I have some baby wipes. A quick swipe with a baby wipe removes face oil and whatever else is on the mask, leaving it clean and ready to use. The hose I rinse out about every 6 months or so. I change the filter whenever I remember. (zonker, this i...

Re: Best nasal pad

I usually remember to wipe down the area where the cushion seals to my face with witch hazel. I have really oily skin. If I don't wipe it down, I get awakened sometime during the night by 'facial flatulence' vibrating me to alertness. The witch hazel helps both the nasal pad and the cushion to stay ...

Can anyone recommend the best Nasal pad for a full face mask. Thanks.
I have used two that are virtually identical:

and

I think the boomerang is slightly less expensive.

Re: Daaylight Savings Time

I have 5 clocks in the house. One sets itself. Wish I had more of those. The microwave doesn't count because the stove clock is nearby. A couple of them set themselves, but the keurig coffeepot has a total FAIL for a clock. The clock is insane, and never comes within a couple of hours of showing the...

Have you tried a TENS unit? I have only a passing acquaintance with one during rotator cuff rehabilitation.

Re: Brand new Reamed 10-broken or did i do something wrong?

I have noticed that some plug receptacles in the back of the machine are very tight. Sometimes you can plug in the cord and it feels like it is in, but it needs to be pushed very hard to make it actually connect. I also have noted that on one machine. I am not sure that was the problem on the machi...
